Borussia Dortmund have confirmed Andre Schurrle is set for talks with another club.

Schurrle did not play in the pre-season game against Manchester City this morning and has been linked with a move away from Dortmund.

"Of course, we won’t tell you which club it is," a team spokesman said. "He is released for talks for another club."

Arsenal are interested in Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes, according to AS.

Gomes is believed to be surplus to requirements at the Camp Nou after failing to impress since his 2016 move to the Catalan giants from Valencia.

He is attracting interest from Italy but Arsenal are said keen on him too.

Sky in Italy are reporting that AC Milan have held talks to sign Real Madrid striker Karim Benezma.

Benzema’s representatives have apparently met with Milan and the 30-year-old has given his approval to the transfer.

The striker is under contract with Madrid until 2021.

Cheltenham Town have accepted a bid from an 'unnamed club' for star forward Mo Eisa.

The 24-year-old scored 25 goals in all competitions last season, 23 of which coming in Sky Bet League Two.

The 'unnamed club' is believed to be Bristol City.

Manchester City started their pre-season on Saturday morning with a 1-0 defeat to Borussia Dortmund.

Riyad Mahrez made his debut, Joe Hart played and youngsters Phil Foden and Brahim Diaz both started.

City manager Pep Guardiola says he is yet to decide whether the duo will stay with the squad or leave on loan.

He said: "We will decide on them at the end of pre-season. As soon as people come back we will know what we need for the games against Chelsea (in the Community Shield) and Arsenal."

Jack Marriott netted a brace for Peterborough United as they beat Portuguese outfit Louletano 5-2 in a pre-season friendly.

Posh have already rejected three bids from Derby County for the 23-year-old, who scored 33 goals in all competitions last season.

A host of Sky Bet Championship clubs are interested in the forward, with West Brom and Leeds United also believed to be keen on his signature.

Meanwhile, Leeds duo Eunan O'Kane and Luke Murphy both started for the club's under-23s side against Ossett United on Saturday.

The Whites are looking to move the midfield pair on this summer, with Murphy spending last season on-loan at Burton Albion.

Marcelo Bielsa is hopeful that suitors can be found for both before the window slams shut in August.

The Daily Mirror reports that Nottingham Forest are understood to be monitoring Bristol Rovers defender Tom Lockyer as a potential fallback option if they are unable to land Sam Byram.

Forest are still keen on bringing West Ham defender Byram to the City Ground on-loan, as Aitor Karanka looks to bolster the right-back spot, according to Nottingham Live.

Millwall aren't looking to sell Jake Cooper
Millwall aren't looking to sell Jake Cooper

Millwall remain unmoved in their stance that defender Jake Cooper will not be sold, according to Sky Sports.

They say that the Championship club have snubbed interest from Rangers and are under no pressure to sell any of their players.

Cooper made 42 appearances for Millwall last season and was part of the joint-third strongest defence in the Sky Bet Championship. He has two years remaining on his current contract at The Den.

Sky Sports also say that Dutch outfit Feyenoord are in discussions with Southampton about Jordy Clasie joining on a season-long loan.

Reports say that Southampton would prefer to do a permanent move for the 27-year-old, who arrived at St Mary’s in 2015 for £8m but spent last season on-loan with Belgian side Club Brugge.

Clasie joined Southampton from Feyenoord and his former club are now eyeing up a return.

Could Yerry Mina be heading to Everton?
Could Yerry Mina be heading to Everton?

Everton have sounded out Yerry Mina, according to the Barcelona defender’s uncle and agent Jair Mina.

The centre-back’s uncle has revealed that he has spoken with Everton but says the player has his heart set on making it at the Camp Nou, despite the fact that he has received several offers from elsewhere.

Speaking to Esports Cope, he said: "I've spoken to Everton's director of football (Marcel Brands). Yerry has lots of offers to leave but his dream is to play for Barca. He knows that Barca have 25 squad places available and everyone is important.

"But what's important to him is that he plays. We won't do anything unless Barcelona tell us that we need to find a new club for Yerry."

AC Milan centre-back Leonardo Bonucci is interested in a reunion with former team-mate Gianluigi Buffon, who is now with Paris Saint-Germain, according to Corriere dello Sport.

PSG have begun negotiations with the player and his club, who are said to want £31m for the 31-year-old they signed from Juventus just last summer.

He is also reportedly being monitored by Manchester City and Chelsea.

Ryan Kent will undergo a medical in the next 24 hours ahead of completing his season-long loan move to Rangers, according to Sky Sports.

Rangers agreed terms with Liverpool on a deal for the winger on Friday and it is expected the move will be completed in the coming days.

He will become manager Steven Gerrard’s 10th signing since the former Liverpool captain took charge at Ibrox.

Kent, who has represented England at U18 and U20 level, signed a new long-term contract at Liverpool last August.
