1603: It's all gone eerily quiet on the transfer front and one deal that Arsene Wenger really wants you to think is not happening is Alexis Sanchez's move to PSG.

The French boss, who has assured us that his Chilean star is going absolutely nowhere on various occasions through the summer, has confirmed his player will return to training on Friday.

Now if that isn't a sign of commitment then I don't know what is.

1450: Probably won't need a new big-money signing but Manchester City have been hit by the slight blow that Benjamin Mendy will miss the start of the season.

1420: A newspaper report to bring you from Spain as AS reveal that Real Betis are hopeful of signing Middlesbrough's Gaston Ramirez.

1315: You can pick your team of the best Premier League stars and the Sporting Life League gives you the chance to win fantastic prizes for ending the season  at the summit.

A PlayStation 4, a copy of the FIFA 18 game and four tickets to a Sky Bet EFL match of your choice are the prizes if you fight off the competition to be the top Sky Sports Fantasy Football manager in the Sporting Life League.

You can take your place in the Sporting Life League by clicking on the join a league button and using 8300572 as the league PIN.

The Sporting Life League is starting from scratch this season so you will need to enter again if you enjoyed the battle for supremacy last term.

1220: Tomas Kalas has rejoined Fulham on a season-long loan from Chelsea.

1155: Sport newspaper in Spain reports Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho has informed the club that he is willing to take a pay cut to push through a move.

Talk of a move to the Nou Camp for Coutinho won't go away but it will probably rely on PSG signing Neymar.

1130: Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has signed a new two-year contract.

Gomes has made 122 appearances for the Hornets and his new deal will run until June 2019.

1040: Middlesbrough have confirmed that a deal has been agrred in principle with West Ham to sign striker Ashley Fletcher.

Boro are certainly boosting their forward options this summer.

0955: Speculation linking Neymar with a move to PSG won't go away but the Brazil star scored Barcelona's winner against Manchester United in America.

Manchester City are also smiling after a 4-1 victory over European champions Real Madrid.

0920: Some interesting quotes in from West Brom manager Tony Pulis as he talks about the chase for Middlesbrough defender Ben Gibson.

The Baggies chief told Sky Sports News: "Ben is a smashing player and I am sure Middlesbrough will want to keep him.

"They'll be looking to get promoted again and you can understand they do not want to get rid of Ben.

"We have had enquiries for Ben and we've had enquiries for other players as well. We'll see how those enquiries go, but I think it's going to be very hard to get Ben out of Middlesbrough."

0850: News came through last night that Gylfi Sigurdsson has rejoined training with the Swansea first-team squad after missing the club's pre-season tour of the United States.

Sky Bet make Sigurdsson odds-on at 1/3 to join Everton before the summer transfer window closes and he's 7/2 to remain at the Liberty Stadium.

0825: Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has provided a few interesting lines when speaking to several national newspapers.

Conte says "it would be at least £100million" required to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham. That deal is 12/1 to happen this summer with Sky Bet

"For me, Kane, now, is one of the best strikers in the world," Conte said.

"If I had to buy one striker I would go to Kane. He is a complete striker. He is strong physically, with the ball, without the ball, he fights and he's strong in the air and acrobatic on the right and the left.

"He's a complete player. He's one of the top strikers in the world. If you go to buy Kane now it would be at least £100m.

"At least. For me, if I see this price for a striker I know for sure he's a big striker."

Conte also revealed that Chelsea tried to sign Kyle Walker before the right-back joined Manchester City.

"We tried to buy Walker," he said.

"Honestly, I think now every single player is expensive. For you to even enquire about one player, he is expensive.

"You go to buy a right-back, a left-back or a central defender and he is expensive. It is very difficult in the transfer market for the teams that need to improve their squads."

0815: Good morning and welcome to Thursday in the Transfer Bulletin. The good news is that there's plenty of news to bring you up to date with during the early stages of proceedings.

Let's start with Paper Talk. Plenty of the usual names are in there and James Collins might join Everton.
