Which Premier League managers will be changing jobs in the summer?

It's been a turbulent season for Premier League managers but it looks like a few more changes could be happening this summer.

It was a bloodbath in terms of managerial casualties this season, with in total 11 departures if including Arsene Wenger’s decision to leave Arsenal after 22 years at the helm.

Crystal Palace got things rolling by sacking Frank de Boer just four games into the season, and he was followed by Craig Shakespeare and Ronald Koeman leaving Leicester and Everton respectively in October.

Slaven Bilic (West Ham), Tony Pulis (West Brom) and Paul Clement (Swansea) were all gone by Christmas – before January saw Mark Hughes and Marco Silva leave Stoke and Watford respectively.

Mauricio Pellegrino left Southampton in March and the following month Alan Pardew became the second West Brom boss sacked.

With plenty of question marks over the futures of a host of managers, there will no doubt be more movement over the summer.

Antonio Conte

He won the Premier League in his first season and is in his second straight FA Cup final but Conte has the look of a dead man walking at Chelsea as it seems neither he nor the club really want the relationship to go on beyond the summer.

Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri is the 9/4 favourite with Sky Bet to take over at Stamford Bridge, ahead of Arsenal target Luis Enrique (4/1) while Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri is 6/1 after distancing himself from the job.

Sam Allardyce

Big Sam came in and did exactly what Big Sam does, but his style of play has not endeared him to the Everton fans one bit. The influx of cash at Goodison has led to loftier expectations than finishing behind Burnley in eighth.

Then there’s the infamous fan survey, and the apparent ‘him or me’ battle with club legend Wayne Rooney. Allardyce himself admitted that there’s no smoke without fire and did not exactly exude confidence about being in charge next season.

In fact, he’s as big as 6/1 to start next season in the Everton dugout, with Marco Silva a warm order 7/4 favourite and Shakhtar Donetsk boss Paulo Fonseca attracting interest at 3/1.

Darren Moore

Big Dave took over a side basically down and out, but he engineered a remarkable run of results that garnered 11 points from five games and almost kept them up. Wins over Manchester United and Tottenham along with a draw with Liverpool made that points tally even more special.

Most Baggies fans would give the job of guiding them back into the Premier League to their former defender, who also won April's Manager of the Month, in a heartbeat.

Moore also seemed to change the attitude and atmosphere around West Brom, and it’s no surprise to see him 4/7 to get the job full-time, with Brentford's Dean Smith (11/8) his only competition for the job.

Replacing Arsene Wenger

It’s a huge task replacing Wenger as nobody is really sure how deep his influence in the running of the club went. And there's a mix of experienced managers with inexperienced assistants apparently in the frame.

It’s been fascinating watching this market develop with names coming in and out of contention, and it’s former Arsenal skipper Mikel Arteta who currently stands as the 6/4 favourite despite his lack of managerial experience.

Luis Enrique (8/1) appears here again but his wages demands are putting the Gunners off, while fans have not been too pleased at the prospect of Brendan Rodgers (7/2) taking charge.

Patrick Vieira (10/1) is another interesting name but the fluctuation in this particular betting points to the club not knowing who their first choice is. They’ll have to work quickly to get a new man installed before the World Cup.

Carlos Carvalhal

If you picked managers by their best quotes then Carvalhal would never be out of work given his soundbites, but despite a fast start his side faded badly to slip into the Sky Bet Championship.

He’s been there before and he’s already staked his claim to remain in charge, but Swansea have the likes of Chris Coleman (2/1) and Chris Wilder (4/1) possibly in their sights.

David Moyes

David Moyes is out of contract at West Ham, will he sign a new one?

Moyes’ contract ended on Sunday so technically the West Ham job is up for grabs, although we’re still not sure if he wants it or not!

Moyes kept the Hammers in the Premier League and had to deal with a lot of off the field unrest between fans and owners at the London Stadium, so whether he’d fancy more of that remains to be seen.

Manuel Pellegrini and Rafa Benitez have been mentioned as targets.

Rafa Benitez

Speaking of Benitez, his situation is another interesting one – Mike Ashley has openly asked him to stay, but Benitez will need him to let his wallet do the talking in the summer.

Benitez proved yet again what a top coach he is as he kept Newcastle up comfortably in the end. He’s still underrated and is a big outsider for the Chelsea and Arsenal jobs.

Paul Lambert

Lambert says Stoke want to keep him around in the Sky Bet Championship, but he hardly pulled up any trees with his failed attempt to keep them up. Too many draws and a lack of goals summed up his stay with the Potters, hardly a winning combination in any league.

The fact Stoke skipper Ryan Shawcross admitted his side had 'sleepwalked' into relegation does not reflect too well on the man in charge.

Mauricio Pochettino

Obviously Poch is doing a great job at Spurs, but his recent comments about Daniel Levy loosening the purse strings could be a sign of underlying frustration at not being able to match the big guns in the transfer market.

He’s built a team that can match anyone on their day but can’t quite get over the line in terms of silverware, and he’s still being talked up as a target for Real Madrid.

He’s 2/1 favourite for that job, which many feel will be available if Zinedine Zidane doesn’t win a third Champions League on the spin – as ridiculous as that sounds.
