Wins for Nottingham Forest, Charlton Athletic, Doncaster Rovers and Exeter City ensured Sporting Life's Saturday Football accumulator landed.
Doncaster were always in control of their home clash with Bradford thanks to a first-half double from John Marquis and although the visitors pulled a goal back late on, acca backers would have always been confident of this result going the right way.
Exeter were another to run out comfortable winners, for all they did fall a goal behind to visiting Cheltenham.
They were level soon after half-time and despite meeting dogged resistance, deservedly took the lead with ten minutes to go before adding another to run out 3-1 victors at the final whistle.
Nottingham Forest had to work harder for their three points in a drab affair at the City Ground but Lewis Grabban calmly slotted home an 86th minute penalty to leave Charlton needing to beat Plymouth to make it a perfect four out of four for acca backers.
It was to prove a tense final ten minutes as the teams were locked together at 1-1 before Karlan Grant pounced with two minutes of normal time remaining to hand Charlton a win their late dominance deserved.
In the Premier League, Liverpool maintained their strong start to the current campaign by beating Southampton 3-0 while current champions Manchester City hammered Cardiff 5-0.
