Accrington climbed into the Sky Bet League Two automatic promotion places with a 2-0 win at 10-man Crewe.

Stanley were quick out of the blocks and Billy Kee put them ahead from the penalty spot after three minutes when Kayden Jackson was brought down by Michael Raynes, who was dismissed late on for a second booking.

They doubled their advantage in the 11th minute when Dave Richards could only parry Jackson's angled drive and Jordan Clark headed home the rebound.

Accrington are on offer at 7/4 in Sky Bet's promotion prices.

Exeter dropped out of the top three following a second home defeat in a week.

Tom Pope's 25th-minute strike gave Port Vale a 1-0 win as the Grecians slipped down to fourth.

Luton (Sky Bet's odds-on title favourites at 4/6) remain top despite being held to a 0-0 draw at Crawley as Notts County (second-favourites at 10/1 to finish top) failed to capitalise, though Ryan Yates cancelled out Hallam Hope's opener for Carlisle in a 1-1 draw.

Harry Smith's second goal of the season gave Swindon a 1-0 win over Wycombe at the County Ground to move them into the play-off positions, while a first away defeat of the season saw the Chairboys drop to fifth.

Newport's Shawn McCoulsky levelled with 21 minutes remaining to earn a 1-1 draw with Mansfield at Rodney Parade.

Coventry were held to a 0-0 draw by Colchester, who had Tom Lapslie sent off, and Morecambe and Grimsby also played out a stalemate.

Forest Green made it two wins from two with a 2-1 victory at Stevenage.

Matt Godden's third goal in two games put the hosts ahead but second-half goals from Reece Brown and Christian Doidge saw the points head to Gloucestershire.

Danny Wright's 30th-minute strike earned Cheltenham a 1-0 win over Lincoln.

Otis Khan struck nine minutes from time to cancel out Simeon Akinola's early opener for Barnet and secure a 1-1 draw for Yeovil.

Jevani Brown and Uche Ikpeazu were on target to send Cambridge to a 2-1 win over Chesterfield after Kristian Dennis had put the Spireites ahead.
