Lukas Jutkiewicz scored five goals in October to inspire Birmingham's strong form

The winners of October's Manager and Player of the Month for Sky Bet Championship, League One and League Two have been revealed.

We have exclusive interviews with all six winners.

Sky Bet Championship

Manager of the Month: Steve McClaren, Queens Park Rangers

The scrutiny was sharp and hurtful in late summer after a dreadful start, but McClaren quietly trusted his methods and his players to steer the Hoops into the top half with an October haul of 13 points from five unbeaten games.

Player of the Month: Lukas Jutkiewicz, Birmingham City

Jutkiewicz and Birmingham City both enjoyed an excellent October in the Sky Bet Championship. The big striker scored five goals, three being headers. He struck a hat-trick against Rotherham and also set up his side’s winning goal at Stoke.

Sky Bet League One

Manager of the Month: Mark Robins, Coventry City

Robin's side ended the month with five successive league wins, making light of the transition from League Two following promotion. Impressively, his side scored eight goals in winning away at Charlton, Southend and Bradford.

Player of the Month: Freddie Ladapo, Plymouth Argyle

Veins of form do not come much richer. Six goals and two assists in six games for the 25-year-old who scored every type of goal, including a lovely individual effort against Burton, to help lift Argyle out of the relegation zone.

Sky Bet League Two

Manager of the Month: Paul Tisdale, Milton Keynes Dons

It took him 10 years at Exeter to be named Manager of the Month, but it's taken him just three months at MK after a near-perfect October in which his side collected 16 points from a possible 18, conceding just two goals.

Player of the Month: James McKeown, Grimsby Town

Four clean sheets in five games for a keeper at his shot-stopping best in October. Acrobatic as ever, he made a series of saves against Colchester and Crewe as well as a spectacular penalty stop to preserve a draw against Exeter.
