Premier League Request-A-Bets: Goals, cards and corner statistics

We take a look at some of the potential picks in relation to the cards, corners and goals count, as we head into matchday 24.

Coming into the latter stages of the season, certain teams are developing particular trends and demonstrating an improvement in form, so it is important to brush up on the key stats regarding the 20 Premier League clubs, which can be formed collectively to create a Request-A-Bet:

  • Arsenal to win and over 3.5 goals: 6/4 with Sky Bet

Arsenal have registered wins where there has been four or more goals in two of their last three Premier League games. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette have scored four goals each against promoted sides so far this campaign, and their form will not change on Tuesday.

Alexandre Lacazette scored Arsenal’s opener against Chelsea and should start again at the Emirates. Cardiff have struggled recently, failing to score in four of their last five league games, scoring one in that time, suggesting that an Arsenal win accompanied by plenty of goals could be an avenue to venture down.

  • Gonzalo Higuain to score and Chelsea to win

However, Gonzalo Higuain has signed for Chelsea on loan until the end of the season and could finally be the one to break the number nine curse at Stamford Bridge, which have included names such as Steve Sidwell, Fernando Torres and Khalid Boulahrouz.

The last time Higuain played under Sarri, he broke Gunnar Nordahl’s 66-year-old record as he scored 36 times in only 35 Serie A matches. Lightning may not strike twice but this is a good first fixture for the Argentine to be involved in, and he may even make it a debut to remember too.

  • Rashford and Pogba to score and Manchester United to win to nil

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the first Manchester United manager ever to win his first six matches in charge of the club, seeing his team win seven in all competitions. Part of the reason behind United’s recent form can come down to the form of Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba.

Rashford has had a hand in six goals in as many games (five goals, four assists) and has scored in each of his last four league fixtures. Pogba has been directly involved with nine goals in his six league matches under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

They face a Burnley side who are unbeaten in 2019, yet this should come to an end with the form that Man Utd are in. The two key men to register on the scoresheet once more could be a worthy consideration.
