England, Scotland and Northern Ireland all claimed World Cup qualifying wins. Get the details in our blog.

World Cup qualifying results

England 2-1 Slovakia (Goals: England - Dier 37, Rashford 59; Slovakia - Labotka 3)
Scotland 2-0 Malta (Goals: Berra 9, Griffiths 49)
Northern Ireland 2-0 Czech Republic (Goals: Jonny Evans 28, Brunt 41)

FT: It was hard work for England but once again it has to go down as job done thanks to Marcus Rashford's winner in the 2-1 victory over Slovakia. Northern Ireland have made sure of a play-off place with an impressive 2-0 success at home to Czech Republic and Scotland did what needed to be done by defeating Malta 2-0.

2135: ALL OVER - ENGLAND, SCOTLAND AND NORTHERN IRELAND ALL WIN!

2134: England make their final change as Jake Livermore replaces Dele Alli.

2133: England enjoy a decent spell of possession but lose the ball as Raheem Sterling runs out of space in the Slovakia penalty area. Just one minute of additional time left.

2131: Now three minutes of additional time remaining for England to make sure of victory.

2129: Just three minutes remain of normal time for England against Slovakia. Still work to do.

2128: Back England to win 3-1 as a live Sky Bet Price Boost at odds enhanced from 4/1 to 9/2!

2127: Raheem Sterling starts with a run forward and his driven effort is gathered by the Slovakia goalkeeper.

2126: All going calmly for Scotland and Northern Ireland. Both nations are 2-0 up as we enter the final stages of tonight's action.

2125: England make a couple of changes. Raheem Sterling and Danny Welbeck replace Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Marcus Rashford.

2124: Here's Joe Hart enjoying Marcus Rashford's goal...

Joe Hart

2123: Just under 10 minutes left for England, Scotland and Northern Ireland to make sure of victory.

2118: England break with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Marcus Rashford but the move comes to nothing. The hosts haven't kept the ball well at Wembley tonight so Slovakia will still have hopes of a possible point.

England are odds-on at 1/16 with Sky Bet for the win with Sky Bet, Slovakia are 100/1 outsiders (from 9/1 pre-match) and the draw can be backed at 12/1.

2116: Northern Ireland are in control against Czech Republic. A 2-0 lead for the hosts at Windsor Park when only a point was needed to make sure of a play-off place.

2114: Leigh Griffiths' game for Scotland is over and he leaves the field holding his calf. Chris Martin is off the bench to replace the striker.

Back Martin to score the next goal as a live Sky Bet Price Boost at odds enhanced from 9/2 to 6/1!

2113: Scotland are on track for victory. Here's Leigh Griffiths celebrating his goal...

2107: Will it get even better for Marcus Rashford tonight?

Back Rashford to score a brace as a live Sky Bet Price Boost at odds enhanced from 6/1 to 7/1!

2105: Slovakia give England a reminder that there's still plenty of work to do tonight.

Tomas Hubocan's half-volley bounces over the bar with one bounce. Joe Hart had it covered but there was too much space for the shot.

2104: David John also backed Scotland to win and under 3.5 goals against Malta. Currently 2-0 to Scotland in that match so fingers crossed for two winning tips out of two!

2103: That goal from Rashford is also a winning tip at 9/5 from our David John. That's the price he took for the England forward to score.

"Rashford is a very obvious and immediate solution and I like his chances of cutting in off the flank and causing a nuisance in and around the box against Slovakia – back him in the anytime goalscorer market."

2101: Marcus Rashford makes up for the error that led to Slovakia's goal with a cracking finish. The England forward found himself in space on the edge of the box and made no mistake with a driven effort.

2100: GOAL RASHFORD - ENGLAND LEAD 2-1!

2059: An effort from Harry Kane is parried straight in the direction of Dele Alli but the ball just bounces off the England midfielder and behind for a Slovakia goal-kick. There is a lack of quality in this game but the excitement is certainly starting to increase.

2058: Not as much for Northern Ireland to worry about. Here's Chris Brunt celebrating as they look set for a play-off place...

2056: Joe Hart produces a smart stop to keep out Slovakia forward Adam Nemec's volley. Martin Skrtell heads the resulting corner over the bar. Still plenty for England to worry about at the back.

2054: There are plenty of forward options for England boss Gareth Southgate on the bench tonight.

Daniel Sturridge, Danny Welbeck, Jamie Vardy and Raheem Sterling are all potential options, who obviously can't all be introduced!

2052: A picture to enjoy from Windsor Park, where Northern Ireland still lead Czech Republic 2-0.

2051: Leigh Griffiths doubles the advantage for Scotland against Malta. James Morrison's shot hit the post but there was no mistake from Griffiths to take full advantage of the rebound.

2050: SCOTLAND LEAD 2-0!

2049: Plenty of empty seats at Wembley tonight. Will there be regrets about missing out on a famous England win against Slovakia?

Back Dele Alli to score a header as a live Sky Bet Price Boost at odds enhanced from 7/1 to 8/1!

2047: The second half action has started. Elsewhere in Europe, it's all going very well for Germany as they lead Norway 4-0 - get all the latest scores via this link!

2037: It won't surprise you that both Scotland and Northern Ireland are big odds-on favourites to win so take a look at a Sky Bet Price Boost from Hampden Park.

Back Stuart Armstrong to score the next goal in Scotland v Malta at odds enhanced from 13/2 to 7/1!

2034: Let's look at where the odds stand with Sky Bet at the break.

England are odds-on at 8/13 to beat Slovakia, who are now 10/1 for the victory (bigger than the 9/1 available pre-match). The draw is on offer at 2/1.

More RequestABets are now available, including England to win, Harry Kane to score and Eric Dier to be carded at 12/1!

2032: We reach half-time in the three matches that this blog is following. Scotland are leading Malta 1-0, Northern Ireland are 2-0 ahead against Czech Republic and England are level at 1-1 with Slovakia thanks to this Eric Dier goal.

Eric Dier scores for England

2028: NORTHERN IRELAND GO 2-0 UP! Another Northern Ireland goal and yet again a West Brom player finds the back of the net. Chris Brunt curls home a superb free-kick into the bottom corner to leave Czech Republic with a long way back.

2027: England are playing with much more confidence after that goal from Eric Dier. Ryan Bertrand tries to give the hosts the lead at Wembley but his powerful shot is parried away by the Slovakia goalkeeper.

2023: ENGLAND PULL LEVEL! Great work from Eric Dier as he turns home a Marcus Rashford corner from the right with a neat finish at the near post. He did really well to find the space and England are now level at 1-1 with Slovakia.

2022: Harry Kane looks like he's played through one-on-one with the Slovakia goalkeeper but he runs out of space. A deflected effort from the England striker goes behind for a corner.

2018: NORTHERN IRELAND LEAD CZECH REPUBLIC 1-0! Jonny Evans is making the headlines again after all the speculation about his future in club football at the end of the transfer window. The Northern Ireland defender heads home from a Chris Brunt corner to secure the advantage against Czech Republic.

Just one point is enough for Northern Ireland to make sure of a play-off place so victory would be very nice indeed!

2015: There is still plenty of time for England and Gareth Southgate to turn in around tonight. A draw is far from a disaster as it would keep England top of their group.

A defeat really wouldn't be very good though as it would lead to Slovakia moving to the summit.

There's also Scotland putting the pressure on!

2014: England are enjoying plenty of the ball but no quality at all on display so far. Have you lost your confidence in them?

Back Gareth Southgate to be sacked before the World Cup at 6/1 with Sky Bet!

2012: A very close contest as expected between Northern Ireland and Czech Republic. Two decent sides so far looking evenly matched.

2011: Christophe Berra again at the centre of the action for Scotland but he misses out on a double by heading over against Malta.

2010: Sky Bet tell me that 87% of the in-play bets so far are for England to win. That confidence certainly isn't from the performance of Gareth Southgate's side so far.

2004: The Sky Bet RequestABets continue. Play your cards right with Eric Dier and Martin Skrtel both to be carded at 12/1!

2001: Harry Kane has a shot deflected wide for England and the resulting corner is cleared.

2000: England have been pushed out from 2/5 before kick-off to 6/5 with Sky Bet to beat Slovakia. The visitors to Wembley are in from 9/1 to 9/4 for the three points.

1958: No chances so far in Northern Ireland v Czech Republic. A goal is enough for Northern Ireland to secure at least a play-off place in World Cup qualifying.

1956: SCOTLAND TAKE THE LEAD AGAINST MALTA! A much better start for Scotland as Christophe Berra heads home for the opening goal against Malta. That's exactly what Gordon Strachan's side needed to up the pressure on England.

1955: Here is Slovakia going 1-0 up...

Stanislav Lobotka scores for Slovakia

1954: You can back Marcus Rashford to bounce back. He's a Sky Bet Price Boost to score the next goal at odds enhanced from 5/1 to 6/1!

1951: Marcus Rashford lost the ball to Adam Nemec in the build-up to that Slovakia goal. It was a lovely finish from Stanislav Lobotka after he was played through but plenty of questions for England to answer about their defending.

1948: SLOVAKIA LEAD ENGLAND 1-0! An awful start for England as Slovakia go 1-0 up in the third minute. Stanislav Lobotka beats Joe Hart with a cool finish to put the 9/1 pre-match outsiders ahead. A win for Slovakia tonight puts them top of this qualifying group.

1947: Oh dear.

1946: No early action at Wembley but there are plenty of Sky Bet RequestABets to check out, including Marcus Rashford to score and Martin Skrtel to be carded at 8/1!

1945: Here we go!

1940: Just five minutes until kick-off for England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Jordan Henderson leads England out as he's once again named captain by Gareth Southgate.

1935: There's just 10 minutes left to read David John's betting preview and back the tips with Sky Bet.

1933: Away from tonight's World Cup qualifiers, remember that the £1million Super 6 jackpot has to be won on Saturday so probably best to get your predictions in now via this link.

1909: Northern Ireland v Czech Republic is the toughest of tonight's matches for the bookies to call.

Czech Republic are the slight 6/4 favourites with Sky Bet to claim victory. Northern Ireland can be backed at 15/8 and there's a strong case for the draw at 21/10.

Back Northern Ireland to score two or more goals tonight as a Sky Bet Price Boost at odds enhanced from 5/2 to 11/4!

1907: Scotland are fully expected to win tonight at 1/25 with Sky Bet. Malta are 50/1 to spring quite a surprise and the draw is on offer at 16/1.

Probably best to look to the Price Boosts, where Leigh Griffiths is enhanced from 4/1 to 5/1 to score with a header.

1905: The time seems right for a look at the odds for tonight's matches with Sky Bet.

England are the big odds-on favourites at 2/5 to get the better of Slovakia, who can be backed as outsiders at 9/1. The draw is available at 7/2.

There are six Price Boosts available before kick-off at Wembley, including Harry Kane to score a header at odds enhanced from 6/1 to 8/1!

1900: Just one alteration for Northern Ireland against Czech Republic as midfielder Corry Evans comes in for striker Kyle Lafferty.

1855: Here's the England team to take on Slovakia...

England team: Hart, Walker, Cahill, Jones, Betrand, Henderson, Dier, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Alli, Rashford, Kane.
Subs: Heaton, Butland, Stones, Chalobah, Vardy, Livermore, Sterling, Smalling, Cresswell, Welbeck, Sturridge, Keane.

Eric Dier is back from suspension to replace Jake Livermore and Marcus Rashford is selected ahead of Raheem Sterling.

1845: Hello again. I'm Nick Hext and I'll be taking you through the World Cup qualifying action this evening featuring England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

England are two points ahead of Slovakia in Group F so at least a point is required to stay at the summit. Scotland sit four points behind Slovakia so victory at home to Malta must be secured.

It could be a night of celebrations for Northern Ireland. A draw or better against Czech Republic will make sure of at least a play-off place.
