Sunday May 13

Burnley v AFC Bournemouth

Team news

Burnley fans could be given the chance to bid farewell to Scott Arfield and Dean Marney on Sunday.

The pair are both leaving at the end of the season and, despite injury problems, could be given cameos from the bench against Bournemouth before signing off at Turf Moor.

Ben Mee (shin), Ashley Barnes (shoulder), Steven Defour and Robbie Brady (both knee) are all out.

Harry Arter and Adam Smith will both miss out for Bournemouth.

Arter continues to battle Achilles trouble, while Smith is still recovering from a knee ligament injury.

Junior Stanislas is still working his way back from knee trouble too, so is another to miss out.

Teams

Burnley (from): Pope, Lowton, Tarkowski, Long, Ward, Lennon, Cork, Westwood, Gudmundsson, Marney, N'Koudou, Arfield, Hendrick, Barnes, Wood, Vokes, Heaton, Marney, Bardsley, Taylor, Wells.

Bournemouth (from): Begovic, Francis, S Cook, Ake, Daniels, Gosling, L Cook, Fraser, Wilson, King, Mousset, Boruc, B Smith, Mings, Surman, Pugh, Ibe, Defoe.

Opta statistics

  • Burnley are looking to secure their first league double over Bournemouth since 1999-00, when they were in the third tier.
  • Bournemouth have never won in 14 visits to Burnley in all competitions (D6 L8) – at no side have they played more without victory in their history (also 14 vs Southampton).
  • There have been just 30 goals scored at Turf Moor in the Premier League this season (15 for Burnley, 15 against), the fewest of any ground. The last ground to see fewer in a single campaign was the Etihad in 2006-07 (26).
  • The Clarets are guaranteed a seventh-place finish in the Premier League this season – their highest final position in the top-flight since 1973-74 when they finished 6th.
  • Sean Dyche’s side have so far won the lowest percentage of their Premier League points in home games this season (48 per cent - 26/54). Last season, they won a league-high 82.5 per cent of their Premier League points at home (33/40).
  • Bournemouth have won just one of their last 12 away league games (3-0 at Chelsea in January), drawing six and losing five.
  • Sixteen of Bournemouth’s Premier League games this season have seen the side scoring first fail to win the match – more than any other side in the competition.
  • Burnley have made a league-low 33 changes to their starting XI in the Premier League this season, while Bournemouth have used fewer different players than any other side (21).
  • Josh King has scored in each of his last two Premier League appearances against Burnley; only against Swansea has he scored in three consecutive games in the competition.
  • Both Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood have scored nine Premier League goals this season – only two Burnley players have ever reached double figures in a Premier League campaign (Danny Ings, 11 in 2014-15 and Sam Vokes, 10 in 2016-17).

Crystal Palace v West Bromwich Albion

Team news

Crystal Palace have Jason Puncheon available for Sunday's visit of West Brom following his recovery from a long-term knee injury that had been expected to end his season.

Connor Wickham is another fit to feature, also following a long-term knee injury that means he is yet to make a first-team appearance this season.

At the end of a season disrupted by injury, Palace's only absentees are Scott Dann with cruciate ligament damage and Bakary Sako because of an ankle problem.

West Brom caretaker manager Darren Moore may make changes.

Albion's inevitable demotion to the Sky Bet Championship was confirmed when Southampton beat Swansea in midweek, despite an impressive run under the temporary boss.

Gareth Barry (knee) and James Morrison (Achilles) remain Moore's only casualties and he admitted he may mix things up against Roy Hodgson's side.

Teams

Crystal Palace (from): Hennessey, Cavalieri, Speroni, Ward, Wan-Bissaka, Fosu-Mensah, Tomkins, Sakho, Kelly, Delaney, Jach, Van Aanholt, Schlupp, Souare, McArthur, Cabaye, Milivojevic, Loftus-Cheek, Rakip, Lee, Riedewald, Townsend, Zaha, Benteke, Sorloth, Wickham.

West Brom (from): Foster, Myhill, McAuley, Dawson, Evans, Nyom, Hegazi, Gibbs, Livermore, Krychowiak, Brunt, Phillips, Yacob, Field, McClean, Rondon, Rodriguez, Burke, Robson-Kanu, Sturridge.

Opta statistics

  • Crystal Palace have kept a clean sheet in each of their last two Premier League meetings with West Brom – only against Aston Villa (2005-2014) and QPR (1994-2014) have they recorded three successive shutouts in the competition.
  • The Baggies have won two of their last three Premier League visits to Selhurst Park (L1), having lost their first two at the ground.
  • The home side has failed to score in each of the last three meetings between these sides, with Palace losing 0-1 in this exact fixture last season.
  • Palace have won on both occasions they’ve finished the Premier League campaign at home, beating Sheffield Wednesday in 1997-98 and Swansea in 2014-15.
  • West Brom have only won one of their previous 11 games on the final day of a Premier League campaign (D6 L4), beating Portsmouth in 2004-05 to avoid relegation.
  • Palace have lost just one of their last seven Premier League games (W4 D2), winning the last two in a row. They’ve not won three consecutively since a run of four in April 2017.
  • The Eagles have won 15 points from losing positions in the Premier League this season – only in 2014-15 (21) have they won more in a single campaign.
  • Darren Moore has won more points for West Brom in his five games in charge this season (11) than both Alan Pardew did in 18 (8) and Tony Pulis did in 12 (10) for the Baggies.
  • However, West Brom have been unable to avoid relegation. If they avoid defeat here, Moore will become the third manager to have been relegated with a team at the end of a Premier League season while remaining unbeaten, after Micky Adams with Leicester in 2001-02 (four games) and Trevor Brooking with West Ham in 2002-03 (three games).
  • Jay Rodriguez has scored in three of his five league starts against Palace, scoring three goals (one for Southampton, two for Burnley).

Huddersfield Town v Arsenal

Team news

Huddersfield boss David Wagner will select from an unchanged squad for his side's last Premier League game of the season at home against Arsenal.

Wagner has no new injuries following Wednesday night's draw at Chelsea, which secured them another season in the top flight.

Tom Ince is hoping to feature after recovering from a hamstring injury, while Michael Hefele (knee), Elias Kachunga and Danny Williams (both ankle) remain sidelined.

Arsenal will be without the suspended Konstantinos Mavropanos for Arsene Wenger's final game as manager.

The young defender was shown a straight red card in Wednesday's 3-1 loss at Leicester and will be forced to sit out the game in West Yorkshire having started the Gunners' last three league matches.

Mesut Ozil (back), Mohamed Elneny (ankle), Laurent Koscielny and Santi Cazorla (both Achilles) are also missing but the likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Jack Wilshere could return after sitting out in midweek.

Teams

Huddersfield (from): Lossl, Kongolo, Schindler, Jorgensen, Hadergjonaj, Hogg, Mooy, Van La Parra, Pritchard, Ince, Quaner, Mounie, Malone, Depoitre, Billing, Coleman, Lowe, Smith.

Arsenal (from): Cech, Ospina, Bellerin, Holding, Mustafi, Chambers, Mertesacker, Monreal, Nelson, Kolasinac, Maitland-Niles, Xhaka, Willock, Wilshere, Ramsey, Iwobi, Mkhitaryan, Welbeck, Lacazette, Nketiah, Aubameyang.

Opta statistics

  • The Terriers have won just one of their last 12 home league meetings with Arsenal (D7 L4), though this is the first such meeting since August 1971.
  • Arsenal are unbeaten in their last nine meetings with Huddersfield in all competitions (W7 D2), winning their last game in Huddersfield 5-0 in a League Cup match in 1993.
  • The Gunners won the reverse of this fixture 5-0 – only twice have they scored 5+ goals in both Premier League games against a side in a season, vs Derby in 2007-08 and Everton this season.
  • Arsenal have won only three away Premier League games this season. They last won as few as four away league games in a top-flight season in 1989-90 (4), while the last time they won fewer than four was 1975-76 (two).
  • Meanwhile, the Gunners have lost 11 away Premier League games this season – a joint-high for them in the competition (level with 1994-95). They last lost 12 on the road in a top-flight campaign back in 198485.
  • Arsenal have already lost against Newcastle and Brighton this season – they’ve not lost against as many as three promoted clubs since 1980-81 (Birmingham, Leicester and Sunderland).
  • Four of the 13 hat-tricks scored on the final day of a Premier League season have been scored by Arsenal players, more than any other club (Freddie Ljungberg 2003, Thierry Henry 2006, Theo Walcott 2015 and Olivier Giroud 2016).
  • Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 12 final Premier League games (W10 D2), winning the last six in a row. Their last such defeat came at Birmingham in 2004-05.
  • This will be Arsene Wenger’s 828th and final Premier League match in charge of Arsenal. The John Smith’s Stadium will be the 54th different ground at which he’s managed in the competition, with three of the six grounds he’s failed to win at in the competition being based in Yorkshire (Bramall Lane, Hillsborough and Valley Parade).
  • Huddersfield have failed to score in 20 different Premier League games this season – only Derby in 200708 (22) and Leeds in 1996-97 (21) have ever failed in more in a single campaign.

Liverpool v Brighton & Hove Albion

Team news

Adam Lallana could return to Liverpool's squad for the final match of the season at home to Brighton.

The England midfielder has not played since the end of March because of a hamstring injury but has been in full training for a week and is set for a comeback.

Defender Joe Gomez is the latest player to be ruled out before the end of the season after undergoing ankle surgery this week.

Brighton manager Chris Hughton has no fresh selection concerns.

Albion top scorer Glenn Murray is pushing for a recall at Anfield after being left on the bench in favour of Leonardo Ulloa for the midweek defeat at champions Manchester City.

Record signing Jurgen Locadia and Israel international Beram Kayal are in contention for rare starts, but Seagulls midfielder Steve Sidwell, who has not featured all season, remains sidelined through injury.

Teams

Liverpool (from): Karius, Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Milner, Salah, Firmino, Mane, Mignolet, Clyne, Klavan, Moreno, Lallana, Woodburn, Ings, Solanke.

Brighton (from): Ryan, Krul, Maenpaa, Goldson, Schelotto, Bruno, Bong, Dunk, Duffy, Rosenior, Suttner, Skalak, Stephens, Kayal, Propper, Knockaert, March, Gross, Izquierdo, Murray, Baldock, Ulloa, Locadia, Hemed.

Opta statistics

  • Liverpool have won five of their last six meetings with Brighton in all competitions (D1), netting 22 goals across these six games (3.7 per game).
  • Brighton’s last win at Anfield in any competition was in an FA Cup tie in February 1983 (2-1), losing twice and drawing once since then.
  • The Reds are unbeaten in their last 21 home league games against promoted sides (W16 D5), since a 12 loss vs Blackpool in 2010-11.
  • If Liverpool avoid defeat, it will be the seventh time they’ve remained unbeaten at home across an entire top-flight campaign – more than any other side have done so.
  • No side has scored fewer away Premier League goals this season than Brighton (10, same as West Brom).
  • Meanwhile, only Stoke (13) are on a current longer winless away run in the Premier League than Brighton (12 – D4 L8).
  • Lewis Dunk has scored an own goal in both of his previous meetings with Liverpool for Brighton – in a 1-6 defeat in the FA Cup in February 2012, and in the reverse fixture in December (1-5 defeat).
  • Mohamed Salah needs just one goal to set a new record for most Premier League goals in a 38-game season (currently 31). However, the Egyptian hasn’t scored in two consecutive Premier League games for only the second time this season (also two in October).
  • Glenn Murray has been involved in a goal in all three of his Premier League meetings with Liverpool, scoring twice and assisting another.
  • Last time out against Manchester City, Leonardo UIloa scored his first league goal for Brighton since May 2014. He’s not scored in back-to-back games for them since April 2014, while he last scored in consecutive Premier League apps in April 2016 with Leicester.

Manchester United v Watford

Team news

Jose Mourinho has confirmed he will recall forwards Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial for Manchester United's final Premier League game of the season at home to Watford.

The pair were on the bench for Thursday's goalless draw at West Ham as Mourinho made eight changes - with the United boss set to shuffle his pack once again against the Hornets.

Romelu Lukaku (ankle) and Marouane Fellaini (muscle) will miss out but the Belgium international duo will be pushing to be fit for the FA Cup final.

Watford midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah could return for the trip to Old Trafford.

Chalobah has been out for eight months because of a knee injury but has made a full recovery and might be ready for a bench role at Old Trafford.

Kiko Femenia, Miguel Britos and Andre Carrillo are doubts due to unspecified injuries while Etienne Capoue is absent for personal reasons.

Teams

Manchester United (from): De Gea, Romero, Valencia, Darmian, Shaw, Young, Lindelof, Smalling, Jones, Rojo, Bailly, Matic, Carrick, Pogba, McTominay, Herrera, Mata, Lingard, Martial, Sanchez, Rashford.

Opta statistics

  • Manchester United have won 13 of their last 14 meetings in all competitions with Watford, losing only at Vicarage Road in September 2016 (1-3).
  • Watford have never won in 10 top-flight visits to Old Trafford (D2 L8), losing each of their last six in a row.
  • This is the first time Watford are finishing a top-flight campaign away from home since 1987-88, when they lost 2-1 at Luton Town.
  • The Red Devils have won more final games in a Premier League campaign than any other side (17), losing only against Spurs in 2000-01 and West Ham in 2006-07.
  • Indeed, that defeat against West Ham is the only time Manchester United have lost in the last 23 occasions they’ve finished a top-flight season at home (W17 D5). Prior to that, their last such defeat was against Sunderland in 1967-68.
  • The Hornets have failed to score in their last eight away games in all competitions, since Andre Gray’s goal at the Etihad on January 2nd. Only once in their history have they had a longer run of away games without a goal (10 between April and September 1972).
  • This will be the 500th Premier League game at Old Trafford – the ground has seen more goals than any other in the competition (1406).
  • Jose Mourinho’s only defeat on the closing day of a Premier League campaign came with Chelsea against Newcastle in 2005-06 (W3 D2 otherwise).
  • Alexis Sanchez has had a hand in six goals in his four Premier League games against Watford (three goals, three assists).
  • Troy Deeney has scored three Premier League goals against Manchester United, all from the penalty spot. Only Steven Gerrard (four) has scored more spot-kicks against the Red Devils in the competition.

Newcastle United v Chelsea

Team news

Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez will be without loan signings Kenedy and Islam Slimani for the final game of the Premier League season against Chelsea.

Winger Kenedy is ineligible to face his parent club and striker Slimani has returned to Leicester after being suspended for the final three games of the campaign.

Defender Ciaran Clark and midfielder Christian Atsu are both still out with knee injuries.

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is expected to be fit to feature.

Courtois had a back injury and was absent for Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Huddersfield, which severely dented the Blues' hopes of Champions League football next term.

Striker Olivier Giroud and forward Eden Hazard are among those likely to be restored to the starting line-up, but defenders David Luiz (knee) and Ethan Ampadu (ankle) are out.

Teams

Newcastle (from): Dubravka, Darlow, Yedlin, Manquillo, Dummett, Haidara, Gamez, Lascelles, Mbemba, Shelvey, Merino, Hayden, Ritchie, Murphy, Diame, Perez, Gayle, Joselu.

Chelsea (from): Courtois, Caballero, Rudiger, Alonso, Fabregas, Drinkwater, Kante, Barkley, Morata, Hazard, Pedro, Bakayoko, Moses, Giroud, Zappacosta, Willian, Cahill, Christensen, Azpilicueta, Palmieri, Eduardo.

Opta statistics

  • Newcastle are unbeaten in their last four home Premier League games against Chelsea, scoring at least twice in each match (W3 D1).
  • However, Chelsea are unbeaten in their last four Premier League meetings with Newcastle (W3 D1), netting 12 goals in the process.
  • Only two teams have scored at least twice in five successive Premier League home games against Chelsea – Liverpool (6 between 1992 and 1997) and Leicester (5 between 1998 and 2002).
  • This will be the third time these sides have met on the final day of a Premier League campaign – only Chelsea vs Everton has been played more often as a final fixture in the competition (four).
  • Newcastle have been shown more red cards on the final day of a Premier League campaign than any other side (seven), including Aleksandar Mitrovic being sent off in their most recent such match (vs Spurs in 2015-16).
  • Chelsea are responsible for the biggest closing day victory in Premier League history, beating Wigan 8-0 to secure the title in 2009-10.
  • The Magpies have conceded just six goals in their last 10 Premier League home games, and never more than once in a match in that time.
  • After a run of three successive away defeats, Chelsea have won their last three Premier League games on the road, each by a one-goal margin.
  • Rafael Benitez has yet to win a Premier League game against a club he used to manage, drawing three and losing one against Liverpool, and losing against Chelsea in the reverse fixture (1-3).
  • Olivier Giroud has scored eight goals in nine Premier League appearances against Newcastle, more than he has vs any other opponent.

Southampton v Manchester City

Team news

Mario Lemina faces a late fitness test ahead of Southampton's Premier League clash with Manchester City on Sunday.

The former Juventus midfielder is battling a hamstring complaint, and is yet to train this week.

Jan Bednarek will miss out due to a head injury as Southampton look to confirm their top-flight status.

Top scorer Sergio Aguero is Manchester City's only major absentee.

The Argentina striker, who has scored 30 goals this term, has missed the last month of the campaign with a knee injury.

Manager Pep Guardiola may make some changes having handed rare starts to Claudio Bravo, Yaya Toure and Danilo in Wednesday's clash against Brighton.

Teams

Southampton (from): Forster, McCarthy, Taylor, McQueen, Soares, Stephens, Pied, Bertrand, Hoedt, Yoshida, Lemina, Romeu, Ward-Prowse, Hojbjerg, Redmond, Tadic, Sims, Long, Gabbiadini, Austin, Carrillo.

Manchester City (from): Ederson, Bravo, Walker, Danilo, Stones, Otamendi, Kompany, Laporte, Mendy, Delph, Zinchenko, Toure, Gundogan, Fernandinho, De Bruyne, D Silva, B Silva, Sane, Sterling, Foden, Diaz, Nmecha, Jesus.

Opta statistics

  • Saints have won just one of their last nine Premier League meetings with Manchester City (D2 L6), winning 4-2 at home in May 2016 thanks largely to a Sadio Mane hat-trick.
  • Manchester City have won two of their last three visits to St Mary’s in the Premier League (L1), with both victories being by a scoreline of 3-0.
  • Southampton haven’t kept a clean sheet in any of their last 12 Premier League games against Manchester City, shipping 27 goals in total.
  • The Saints have collected eight points in their last four Premier League games (W2 D2), as many as they picked in the previous 12 combined (W1 D5 L6).
  • If Manchester City win, they’ll be the first team to ever reach 100 points in an English top-flight campaign, breaking Liverpool’s previous record of 98 in 1978-79 (adjusted to 3 points for a win).
  • Manchester City could also become the first team to record 32 wins in an English top-flight campaign, with their current tally of 31 a joint-record alongside Spurs in 1960-61.
  • Indeed, victory for the Citizens would also see them create a new record for most away wins (16) and points (50) in a Premier League season.
  • In fact, in the top-flight, only Tottenham in 1960-61 have won as many as 16 away games in a single campaign, while no side has ever earned 50 points on the road, even when converting to three points for a win.
  • Before becoming Manchester City manager in 2008, Mark Hughes was unbeaten against them in the Premier League (W4 D4 L0). Since leaving, he’s won only two of his 13 league meetings against the Citizens (D3 L8).
  • Hughes hasn’t ended on the winning side in back to back Premier League games since January 2017, when his Stoke side beat Watford and Sunderland.

Swansea City v Stoke City

Team news

Leon Britton and Angel Rangel will make their final Swansea appearances at home to Stoke on Sunday.

The long-serving pair will be on the bench for the last game of the season, one that is likely to confirm Swansea's relegation from the Premier League.

Midfielder Britton, 36, has announced he will be retiring after Sunday's game, while Spanish full-back Rangel, 35, is leaving Swansea after 11 years in south Wales.

Stoke boss Paul Lambert has pledged to field the strongest team he has available.

The Potters' relegation was confirmed last weekend but Swansea still have a very slim chance of survival, so Lambert will not make wholesale changes.

Eric Choupo-Moting has returned to training after nearly two months out with a groin problem but is not yet ready to play a match, while Bruno Martins Indi (groin) and Kostas Stafylidis (rib) are also expected to be sidelined.

Teams

Swansea (from): Fabianski, Naughton, Van der Hoorn, Fernandez, Mawson, Olsson, Ki, Carroll, King, Clucas, J Ayew, A Ayew, Nordfeldt, Roberts, Britton, Sanches, Abraham, Dyer, Narsingh, Routledge.

Stoke (from): Butland, Haugaard, Shawcross, Zouma, Cameron, Bauer, Johnson, Pieters, Adam, Fletcher, Allen, Ndiaye, Ireland, Shaqiri, Sobhi, Crouch, Diouf, Campbell.

Opta statistics

  • Swansea have won just one of their last five Premier League games against Stoke (D1 L3), winning 2-0 in this exact fixture last season.
  • Stoke are looking to secure their first league double over the Swans since 1992-93, when they were in the third tier.
  • The home side has won nine of the 13 previous Premier League meetings between these two (D3 L1), with Stoke’s 1-0 win at the Liberty Stadium in October 2015 the exception.
  • There has been at least one goal in the opening 15 minutes in each of the last five Premier League meetings between these sides.
  • The Swans collected 17 points in their first nine matches under Carlos Carvalhal (W5 D2 L2) – in their subsequent eight, they’ve collected just three (W0 D3 L5).
  • Should Stoke lose, they will finish bottom of any division for the first time since 1989-90 (24th in second tier).
  • The Potters are on the longest current winless run in the Premier League both in total (13 games) and away from home (also 13 games). o Swansea could be relegated even with a victory in this game – they haven’t been relegated from any division since 2000-01, when they finished 23rd in the third tier.
  • Since 1995-96 – the first Premier League season with 20 teams – only three teams starting the day 18th on the final day have survived, most recently Wigan in 2006-07 (also Bradford City in 1999-2000 and Everton in 1997-98).
  • This is the first Premier League meeting between two teams starting the day in the bottom three on the final day of the season since Derby faced Reading in 2007-08, with Reading winning 4-0 – despite the win, they were relegated.

Tottenham Hotspur v Leicester City

Team news

Tottenham will monitor Mousa Dembele, Serge Aurier, Kieran Trippier and Victor Wanyama before their Wembley swansong against Leicester.

Dembele (ankle) and Aurier (hamstring) missed Wednesday's win over Newcastle where Trippier (knee) and Wanyama (thigh) came off.

Eric Dier has overcome an illness and should feature but Harry Winks (ankle) remains an absentee.

Leicester boss Claude Puel continues to battle a lengthy injury list.

Kasper Schmeichel (ankle), Shinji Okazaki (ankle), Wilfred Ndidi (hamstring), Robert Huth (ankle) and Matty James (Achilles) are out.

Ben Chilwell (ankle) Daniel Amartey (hamstring) and Vicente Iborra (hamstring) are also missing and Marc Albrighton remains suspended but Danny Simpson (ankle) will be assessed.

Teams

Tottenham (from): Lloris, Vorm, Gazzaniga, Trippier, Walker-Peters, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Foyth, Rose, Sanchez, Davies, Dier, Dembele, Wanyama, Eriksen, Sissoko, Alli, Son, Moura,Lamela, Llorente, Kane.

Leicester (from): Hamer, Jakupovic, Maguire, Morgan, Fuchs, Knight, Benalouane, Dragovic, Simpson, Gray, Silva, Barnes, Johnson, Choudhury, Vardy, Iheanacho, Diabate, Thomas, Mahrez.

Opta statistics

  • Spurs have won just one of their last five Premier League meetings with Leicester (D2 L2), winning 6-1 at the King Power Stadium in May 2017.
  • Leicester haven’t done the league double over Tottenham since the 1998-99 campaign.
  • Of all teams they've faced at least 10 times at home in the Premier League, only against Chelsea (19 per cent) and Man Utd (23 per cent) do Spurs have a lower win rate than they do against Leicester (36 per cent - won 4/11).
  • The Foxes have lost both of their previous games against Spurs at Wembley Stadium, losing 0-2 in the 1961 FA Cup final and 0-1 in the 1999 League Cup final.
  • Leicester are winless in their last six Premier League games in London (D3 L3), losing 0-5 at Crystal Palace in their last such match.
  • Tottenham are guaranteed a top-four finish for the third consecutive Premier League season – it’s the first time they’ve had three top-flight finishes in 4th or higher since a run of five campaigns between 1959-60 and 1963-64.
  • The last team to beat both north London sides in consecutive Premier League matches were Manchester United, who beat Spurs 3-0 and Arsenal 8-2 in August 2011.
  • Against no side has Harry Kane scored more Premier League goals than he has versus Leicester City (nine, level with Stoke).
  • Indeed, those nine goals include two hat-tricks, one in a 4-3 win at White Hart Lane and one in a 6-1 win at the King Power Stadium. If he scores three or more in this game, he’ll be only the second player to score three hat-tricks against the same Premier League opponent (after Luis Suarez vs Norwich) and the first to score one against the same opponent at three different grounds.
  • Kane has 28 Premier League goals this season – two more will see him score 30 in a campaign for the first time, while it will also be only the second time that two players have scored 30+ league goals in a season since 1993-94 (Andy Cole and Alan Shearer).

West Ham United v Everton

Team news

West Ham could still be without Javier Hernandez for their final Premier League game of the season at home to Everton.

The Mexico striker has missed the last two games with a knee problem and is likely to be absent again, with manager David Moyes keen to give January signing Jordan Hugill a run-out.

Hernandez is the only fitness concern for the Hammers boss - who could bring Pedro Obiang and James Collins back into his squad after their own respective spells on the sidelines.

Everton manager Sam Allardyce will monitor the fitness of Wayne Rooney and Theo Walcott.

Rooney (calf) and Walcott (knee) missed last weekend's draw at home to Southampton but could be in line for a recall.

Everton's Wayne Rooney

Midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has still not recovered from a knee operation two months ago and will not feature but defender Mason Holgate, who has not played since mid-March because of an ankle injury, could be included in the squad.

Teams

West Ham (from): Hart, Adrian, Ogbonna, Rice, Cresswell, Collins, Evra, Masuaku, Zabaleta, Noble, Kouyate, Obiang, Fernandes, Cullen, Lanzini, Mario, Arnautovic, Carroll, Hernandez, Hugill.

Opta statistics

  • West Ham have won just one of their last 19 Premier League meetings with Everton (D6 L12), winning 3-2 at Goodison Park in March 2016.
  • Indeed, Everton are unbeaten in their last nine away league games against the Hammers (W6 D3) since a 0-1 loss in April 2007.
  • The Toffees have won more Premier League games (24) and more Premier League away games (10) against West Ham than they have vs any other side in the competition.
  • After a run of five consecutive away defeats, Everton are unbeaten in their last three Premier League games on the road (W2 D1). They’ve not won back-to-back top-flight away games since September 2016, which included a 3-0 win at David Moyes’ Sunderland.
  • Everton have won their final match in 52 different top-flight seasons, three more than any other side.
  • David Moyes has lost all five of his Premier League games against his former club, by an aggregate score of 0-12.
  • However, the Scotsman has won seven of his last eight meetings with Sam Allardyce in the competition (L1), including each of his last five in a row.
  • Only against Newcastle (15) has Wayne Rooney scored more Premier League goals than he has vs West Ham (14), with the veteran netting his first ever Everton hat-trick in the reverse fixture in November.
  • Everton have won just one of their last 14 away Premier League games in London (D6 L7), winning 1-0 at Crystal Palace in January 2017, who were managed at the time by Sam Allardyce.
  • No current Premier League player has scored more goals on the closing day of a Premier League season than Theo Walcott (5, level with Romelu Lukaku and Peter Crouch).
