Mauricio Pochettino being lined up by Chelsea as Antonio Conte replacement

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is being linked with a shock move across London to Chelsea as a replacement for Antonio Conte.

Pochettino has been backed in from 14/1 to 8/1 to make the shock move to Chelsea, with Conte widely expected to leave Stamford Bridge after the FA Cup final with both club and manager looking keen to end their relationship.

There are a number of Premier League managerial changes that look likely to be made this summer, and with the World Cup on the horizon and transfer window opening early, clubs will be looking to settle on their managerial situations as soon as possible.

Pochettino has been roundly lauded for the job he's done at Tottenham, but he's warned Spurs boss Daniel Levy that he wants more money in the transfer window to take them to the next level and challenge for the Premier League and Champions League.

That warning has alerted Chelsea to the possibility of luring Pochettino to Stamford Bridge, as has been reported on Sky Sports and in several of Tuesday's newspapers.

Tottenham have developed a strong squad and an entertaining style of play, but Pochettino has so far failed to land any silverware and his frustration at a relative lack of investment could come out if talks with Levy don't go his way.

Pochettino has been backed in from 14/1 to 8/1 to make the shock move to Chelsea, with Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri (9/4) and former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique (4/1) the leading candidates.

If the Argetinian is to leave Tottenham this summer, Real Madrid is the more likely destination according to the bookmakers as he's the 2/1 favourite to replace Zinedine Zidane at the Spanish giants.

Zidane could well win three consecutive Champions League titles if his side beat Liverpool in Kiev on May 26, but after finishing so far behind Barcelona in La Liga he's amazingly in danger of losing his job if Jurgen Klopp's men pip him to the trophy.
