Manchester United have triggered a one-year contract extension clause to retain the services of Ashley Young until the end of next season.
The 32-year-old's deal was due to expire this summer but United have confirmed they have taken up the option of an extra 12 months.
Winger turned full-back Young has been in fine form this season and is back in the England picture ahead of the World Cup.
Young had been out of the international set-up for four years before being called up by Gareth Southgate last November.

His inclusion in the latest squad for friendlies against Holland and Italy this month suggests he has a strong chance of going to the World Cup in Russia.
Young has predominantly played as attacking midfielder or forward throughout his career, both centrally and out wide, but he has proved a competent left-back under Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.
Young joined United from Aston Villa in 2011 and featured in the side that won the Premier League in 2013.
