Ross Barkley scored the only goal of the game as Chelsea beat Leicester in their FA Cup quarter-final tie at the King Power.
Three of Barkley's four goals this season have come in the FA Cup and he did the trick again as he came on as a half-time substitute to grab the winner with a low volley from Willian's cross.
It was a rare moment of quality in the game with both sides looking well below their best - and Leicester yet again struggling to create chances, as they have done in all their games since the restart.
Chelsea were particularly poor in the first half and Frank Lampard responded by making three changes at the break, including bringing off young midfielder Billy Gilmour who enjoyed a super game against Liverpool in the last round but was brought back down to Earth by being benched at the interval.
It was also a third away win in the FA Cup quarter-finals with the home sides no doubt losing that extra bit of edge from having their fans behind them - with the King Power especially one of the more lively of grounds.

Chelsea had chances to add another goal late on the break as Leicester huffed and puffed but never really forced Willy Caballero into a meaningful save.
For eight-time FA Cup winners Chelsea it's another semi-final at Wembley to look forward to, while there are more problems for Brendan Rodgers as he failed to beat the Blues for a 15th time as a manager as their dreams of a maiden FA Cup triumph were ended for another year.
Leicester may be third in the Premier League but their Champions League hopes could be dwindling if their form continues.
In-form Wolves are now just three points behind them in fifth after the Foxes have failed to win after the restart and Man Utd also look likely to launch a run and Leicester cannot afford to let a promising season end in disappointment yet again.
Full time and that's Chelsea through to another FA Cup semi-final and another missed opportunity for the Foxes, who had plenty of the ball and more than enough of it in dangerous areas but just could not create any chances.
Chelsea more clinical and took one of their handful of chances, not a great amount but enough to make the difference.
The good and bad of Ross Barkley there, playing a woeful ball to Loftus-Cheek in a four-on-two break away, but then firing a smart shot in on goal that Schiechel turns over with his legs, somehow, when diving the wrong way.
Chelsea struggling to clear their lines but Leicester just cannot turn this pressure into a clear chance.
If you think they can - it's 7/1 to finish in a draw after 90 mins
Caballero misses the cross in but does just enough to put Soyuncu off with his flapping and the defender nods the ball over the bar - time running out...
Caballero has to get down well to save Chilwell's effort as Leicester try and get something late on.
The Blues looking in decent control of the game now, Lampard's subs have done the trick and he'll get plemty of praise if the result stays like this. Well in sight of a Champions League place and an FA Cup semi-final isn't bad for his first season in charge.
Leicester 0-1 Chelsea
It'd been in the air that Chelsea could score first and it's the first reall bit of quality from them as Willian curls in a ball and Barkley slides a low volley beyond Schmeichel. Lampard's subs did the trick!

Abraham shows Vardy how it's done with a fine left-footed finish but the flag is rightly raised for him being offside. Big let-off for Leicester as Chelsea almost took the lead.
Just a few signs the Blues are getting back into it, Pulisic almost had a great chance but for offside and they look a lot more snappy in midfield with Kovacic and Barkley in there. Young Billy Gilmour has been hooked off at half time - bit different to his last FA Cup game, that's football for you!
Chelsea giving the ball away again in their own defensive areas but again Leicester just can't find a final ball and really should be doing more with all the possession they're being gifted.
Just the THREE changes made by Frank Lampard after that first half display - I said he'd make changes, didn't think it'd be three though...
Unsurprisingly the draw is well fancied now, we had one at Carrow Road, we should've had one at Bramall Lane but will we get one here? Chelsea will surely improve in the second half if you ask me and Lampard will make changes after that opening 45 minutes.

Strange game to sum up, similar to a lot of games in the restart as the first halves are usually quiet and lacking in goals. Leicester had the best of it but Chelsea had the best stand-out chance in the match through Pulisic.
He looks a nice player, and with him, Hakim ZIyech and Timo Werner next season they'll have some forward line of strong runners at Chelsea.
But it's bobbled wide. Vardy got free of the defence but it was on his left side and he never looked confident really, with the scuffed effort bobbling wide of the target. For all they've looked the better side Leicester have got just two shots on target.
Chelsea have arrived! The excellent Pulisic gets almost his first touch and it's a lively one cutting inside the box from the left and launching a thunderbolt at goal. It's in Schmeichel's wheelhouse though and he shows a strong hand to palm it over the bar. First real chance for Chelsea
💪 Strong hand over from Schmeichel

Teasing ball in from Chilwell and Evans has a reasonably free header at the far post but doesn't get any kind of connection on it. Should've done better there.
Will never get used to these drinks breaks, and the sun's hardly cracking the flags in Leicester today, but if gives us a chance to get some in-play odds.

Cabellero called into action to turn away Tielemans' low raking shot into the bottom left corner after another waves of Leicester attacks. Too many mistakes for lethargic Chelsea - still feeling that game on Thursday even with the changes.
Chelsea actually get in and around the Leicester box for the first time, and force a free kick, but nothing really to trouble Schmeichel.
Chelsea really struggling to get going here and if Leicester's final ball was better the hosts could be ahead. Barnes looking particularly lively.
Another great chance and Barnes is this time in down the left, forcing Caballero to palm away his cross and it's lucky that there's no Chelsea man there to stab it home. Chelsea haven't started yet.
Leicester have a glorious chance right from the kick-off as Harvey Barnes plays a nice one-two with Jamie Vardy at the egde of the box but can;t sort his feet out. Should've really hit that first time.
Really strange to hear the King Power so silent, usually one of the more atmospheric grounds in the Premier League.

There are some serious bad omens for Leicester here, and not just because we've backed them pre-tournament to win the FA Cup, but there's a big bogey team element about Chelsea for the Foxes.
Leicester haven't won any of their eight FA Cup ties with Chelsea, have been knocked out in 10 cup ties overall and have won just two of the last 20 meetings. Brendan Rodgers has also never beaten the Blues as a manager in 14 attempts - no time like the present I suppose.
Watching Frank Lampard's men sting Man City on Thursday won't have given Leicester any reason for optimisim, although they won't sell the farm by racing forward with abandon and leaving the back door open. The also won't have Banjamin Mendy as their last line of defence.
Chelsea are the third best away side in the Premier League, although they've bagged the same 27 points from both home and away fixtures so far. Most of those away points were taken early on though and last week's win at Villa was their first in five.
They actually lost the xG battle with Villa and the majority of their chances against City were caused by bad defending or Pep Guardiola's side leaving acres of space for Pulisic and Willian to scamper in to - odds are Leicester won't afford them such room for manoeuvre.
The Foxes also have a couple of extra days to prepare while Chelsea will have to make changes after their impressive efforts against City. There will still be a few players who have to play both games though, and if this does turn out to be survival of the fittest then the Foxes could just snap that poor cup run against the Blues.
