Latest Sky Bet offer

Barnsley v Charlton

  • Kick-off time: 15:00 BST, Saturday

The Tykes enter this clash having gone unbeaten in their last four outings, that includes two wins and they’ll be hoping they can extend that run when they welcome Charlton to Oakwell on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts will feel confident that they can emerge victorious here given their record against the visitors. They have scored at least two goals in all of their last three home matches against Ben Garner’s side.

The Addicks have also managed to keep just one solitary clean sheet across their nine matches this term, however, they are averaging nearly five shots on target per match, the sixth-highest in League One and they can give a good account of themselves here.

Both teams have hit the back of the net in seven of Charlton's nine league games so far and in four out of their five away outings. They’ll be desperate for a win and having scored in five of their six road matches in all competitions, they’re likely to get on the scoresheet.

However, Barnsley have the edge here and are likely to prevent Charlton leaving with a clean sheet. As a result, the 4/5 on BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE is the standout pick for this clash.

Score prediction: Barnsley 2-1 Charlton (Sky Bet odds: 15/2)

Saturday seven

Sheffield Wednesday v Wycombe

  • Kick-off time: 15:00 BST, Saturday

Sheffield Wednesday have lost just one of their last 14 home Sky Bet League One outings and they’ll look to extend that here when they welcome a Wycombe outfit that has a nasty habit of shipping goals away from home.

The hosts have made a strong start to the new campaign and currently occupy a spot in the promotion layoffs after securing five wins from their opening nine matches.

The Owls are the third top scorers in the division with 17 but are conceding an average of exactly a goal per game.

The lack of defensive solidity has been something that Darren Moore has openly voiced concern about and it was there for all to see in their last outing as they lost a 3-2 thriller at home to Burton in the Papa John's Trophy.

Of the 26 goals seen in games featuring the home side, 18 have been produced at Hillsborough and there’s a good chance we will see goals here.

This exact fixture last season saw a 2-2 draw and with Wycombe maintaining a three goal per game average away from home so far, backing OVER 2.5 GOALS seems the obvious choice at 19/20.

Score prediction: Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 Wycombe (Sky Bet odds: 7/1)

Shrewsbury v Burton

  • Kick-off time: 15:00 BST, Saturday

The hosts have endured a relatively poor start with just three wins from their opening nine matches.

They have won just two of their last nine games across all competitions and both of those victories came against newly-promoted outfits Exeter and Forest Green.

Meanwhile, Burton failed to win any of their opening seven matches across all competitions, losing six of those.

But they have shown signs of turning a corner coming into this match having won in both of their last two outings. Their most recent victory came in a 3-2 away win at Sheffield Wednesday in the Papa John's Trophy and it would’ve been the perfect confidence booster ahead of this encounter.

Seven of the visitors' 12 matches have featured at least three goals and given they’ll be full of confidence after recent results, Dino Maamria’s men will look to play on the front foot.

However, they have suffered some heavy defeats this campaign and on average have conceded 2.4 goals per match.

These two sides both rank in the top eight for possession won in the final third and both are prone to defensive errors. We should see plenty of opportunities for both sides to find the back of the net and it means his match looks perfectly setup for goals.

The value for this clash is on backing OVER 2.5 GOALS at 11/10.

Score prediction: Shrewsbury Town 2-2 Burton Albion (Sky Bet odds: 14/1)
