Atletico Madrid confirm Antoine Griezmann and Thomas Lemar deals

Atletico officials have been in Russia with the France squad to conclude deals with Griezmann, Lemar and defender Lucas Hernandez.

27-year-old Griezmann finally decided on his future with a public TV show last week, and the club have confirmed he has signed a one-year extension to take him to 2023.

The club did not comment on whether his reported 100m euros release clause had been altered.

22-year-old former Liverpool and Arsenal target Lemar has also been confirmed as a new signing as he joins from Monaco.

Meanwhile, Hernandez has extnded his current contract with Atletico by two years taking him to 2024.
