Banned internationals Steve Smith and David Warner were in the runs on their returns to Australian grade cricket for the first time since the ball-tampering scandal.
The pair were both banned from playing international and domestic cricket for 12 months by Cricket Australia for their roles in the plan to tamper with the ball during the Cape Town Test earlier this year.
Former Australia skipper Smith and vice-captain Warner were both allowed to play in the New South Wales Cricket competition and they grabbed their opportunity with both hands.
Smith hit 85 for Sutherland against Mosman while Warner carried his bat for 155 as Randwick-Petersham beat St George by four wickets.
