Ollie Robinson will join the England squad ahead of next week’s second Test against Pakistan after being withdrawn from Sussex’s match against Kent.
The uncapped seamer was due to play in today’s Bob Willis Trophy clash at Canterbury but has instead been asked to join the Test side at The Ageas Bowl on Monday.
Robinson was part of the squad at the start of the West Indies series last month and took eight wickets against Hampshire in the first round of county action.
