Surrey paceman Mat Pillans has joined Yorkshire with immediate effect.
The 27-year-old was set to arrive at Headingley in October, having recently signed a three-year deal, but injury problems have forced the club to secure his services on loan until the end of the season.
Pillans could make his debut in the Specsavers County Championship Division One clash against Somerset next week with Steven Patterson nursing a fractured finger, Ben Coad recovering from a side strain and both Jack Brooks and Tim Bresnan doubtful.
