Match report
Babar Azam's rich vein of form continued with an unbeaten half-century as Pakistan kept themselves on course for a one-day series whitewash against Sri Lanka.
Since a surprise defeat in the Test series, Pakistan have been unstoppable with the white ball and now boast a 4-0 lead with one game to play.
Babar came into the fourth ODI at Sharjah with 234 runs in his previous three knocks and added an unbeaten 69 to deliver a seven-wicket success.
Sri Lanka chose to bat first and were rolled for 173, Lahiru Thirimanne's 62 the only notable act of defiance, with Hasan Ali's three for 37 the pick of the figures.
At 58 for three in the reply a tight finish was just about feasible but Babar and Shoaib Malik, who also finished 69 not out, put on 119 without being parted to finish things 11 overs early.
Pakistan are 1/4 favourites with Sky Bet to win Monday's final match of the series and complete a whitewash, while Sri Lanka are 3/1.
