Opening batsman Will Fraine has signed a three-year deal with his home county Yorkshire.
The Huddersfield-born 22-year-old, who has played five first-class matches, spent the 2018 season with Nottinghamshire.
Fraine said: "To be honest it's something I never thought I would get. I never thought I would play for Yorkshire, but I've always had the dream to do it. So it really is like a dream come true.
"There's always that pull of being a Yorkie lad. All my friends speak of one day playing for Yorkshire. I never thought it would happen because I made my own way elsewhere."
Director of cricket Martyn Moxon added: "He's a talented young batsman. He's very much someone with the future in mind and hopefully he'll develop into an outstanding cricketer for us."
Lilley makes Leicestershire move
Meanwhile, Leicestershire have signed off-spinner Arron Lilley on a two-year deal.
The 27-year-old was recently released by Lancashire following the Red Rose's relegation from Specsavers County Championship Division One.
Lilley said: "I am delighted to be joining up with Paul Nixon and the squad. I am keen to develop my game in all three formats and am confident that Grace Road is the best place for me to do that."
Leicestershire head coach Nixon added: "Arron will add great value to our side, he is a three-dimensional cricketer who will be valuable in all formats."
