Katie Taylor edged nearer to challenging for a world title after winning her fifth professional fight on Saturday, stopping Nina Meinke at Wembley Stadium.
Taylor forced a seventh-round stoppage due to a cut above Meinke's eye to collect the WBA lightweight inter-continental title, her first belt in the paid ranks.
Ireland's 2012 Olympic gold medal winner could soon challenge for Cecilia Comunales' WBA lightweight title after moving to 5-0 as a professional.
The cut to her latest opponent, the previously unbeaten Meinke, was done by an accidental head-butt although she had been comprehensively beaten to every punch by Taylor in the rounds prior.
Germany's Meinke, trained by former world champion Sven Ottke, was eventually stopped on her feet when the referee had seen enough of Taylor's razor-sharp combinations.
"Next will be America in June or July - she must box there," promoter Eddie Hearn said.
"We're potentially looking at the Andre Ward-Sergey Kovalev card or headlining ourselves."
