Dereck Chisora demand to David Haye to secure fight against Joe Joyce

Dereck Chisora has demanded old rival David Haye put his purse with Tony Bellew on the line in order to arrange a fight with Joe Joyce.

Chisora impressed on the undercard of the Dillian Whyte-Lucas Browne heavyweight fight at London's O2 Arena by stopping Zakaria Azzouzi with a savage right hand in the second round.

A bout between Chisora and Rio 2016 super-heavyweight silver medallist Joyce has been mooted to take place on the same bill as Haye's rematch against Bellew on May 5 at the same venue.

But Chisora underlined his conditions in front of Haye, who promotes Joyce, in a ringside interview that grew increasingly heated.

The 34-year-old Chisora said on Sky Sports: "In front of the British public on live television, I'll make a deal with you right now: if he beats me you write me a cheque of £1, if I beat him you give me your purse against Tony and your TV rights."

Haye declined the offer leading Chisora to add: "So the fight's not happening. Don't say my name ever again. Stop barking, stop giving it large.

"The deal is there anyway. I hope Tony knocks you out. There's no fight, if he doesn't want to surrender his purse there's no fight. He can jog on."

Haye stopped Chisora in the fifth round of their grudge encounter in July 2012 at Upton Park and the former two-weight world champion seemed exasperated by his old foe's demands.

"We offered him the same money he got for (Kubrat) Pulev, more money than he got for the European title, but you said no. Okay, we understand," Haye said.

"We won't mention you anymore, we'll go another route and we'll get a title."
