Favourite Daniela Meuli completed a Swiss hat-trick of snowboard gold medals with victory in the women's parallel giant-slalom at Bardonecchia on Thursday.
The reigning world champion stormed to victory to add to Tanja Frieden's success in the snowboard cross and Philipp Schoch's win - over his brother - in the men's parallel giant-slalom on Wednesday.
Meuli said: "It was fantastic to see the two Schoch brothers on the podium and it made me feel so hot today. It was a really, really great day."
Germany's Amelie Kober took a surprise silver medal ahead of American Rosey Fletcher, who beat Doris Guenther of Austria in the bronze-medal race-off.
Army captain Svetlana Ishmouratova celebrated Russia's Military Day by leading her team to an emphatic gold-medal success in the women's 4x6km biathlon relay at San Sicario.
Ishmouratova pulled away from the field on the final leg to finish over 50 seconds ahead of second-placed Germany, while France overhauled Norway to claim bronze.
