Zoe Gillings shrugged off her disappointment at failing to make the Olympic women's snowboard cross final at Bardonecchia on Friday.
Gillings made it through her qualification heats but a tumble cost her dear at the quarter-final stage and she eventually placed 15th.
The 20-year-old from the Isle of Man is a former World Cup winner but has struggled for form since returning from a foot injury last May.
Gillings said: "I felt I did everything I could and put in a pretty good effort but it just didn't go my way.
"I am disappointed I could not do a bit better but after what I have been through I have to be happy with my performance."
