Monica Seles denied Australian Nicole Pratt a
first WTA Tour title in a one-sided Kiwi Open final on Sunday.
The American world number eight finished a 6-2 6-3 winner in Shanghai to claim
her 51st career title.
Now 27, Seles has four tournament victories this season, with this following
previous successes at Oklahoma City, Bahia and last week in Tokyo.
Pratt was the first Australian to reach a WTA Tour final since Rachel McQuillan
in January 1994.
