Shahar Peer claimed her first WTA Tour victory in three years on Sunday with a 6-3 6-4 win over Alberta Brianti at the Guangzhou Open on Sunday.
The fifth-seeded Israeli has been in dominant form throughout the tournament, reaching the final without losing a set and had little difficulty overcoming first-time finalist Brianti of Italy.
It was Peer's fourth career singles title on the Tour with her other three all coming in 2006 with victories at Pattaya City, Prague and Istanbul.
Peer takes home the $37,000 prize money.
