Belarus' Victoria Azarenka secured her maiden WTA title with victory over Marion Bartoli in the Brisbane International final.
The 19-year-old second seed strolled to a 6-3 6-1 triumph against the third-seeded Frenchwoman with minimum fuss in the second career meeting between the pair.
Bartoli, the world number 17, struggled with her serve throughout the match, winning only 41 per cent of her service points and committing six double faults.
Four of Bartoli's double faults came in the first set, when Azarenka won all three break points.
Azarenka then took complete control in the second set, forging seven break points and winning three to claim victory after just 71 minutes on court.
"Everybody says the third time's the charm but for me it is the fifth one - I'm just glad I got it," Azarenka said afterwards.
"I just go out and play no matter what happens. That probably helped me. It was like playing a regular match - that is what helped me finish it so quickly."
