Amelie Mauresmo overcame a rowdy home crowd and Kim Clijsters to earn a diamond-studded reward.
The top seed and two-time defending champion beat Clijsters 6-4 7-6 in the Proximus Diamond Games final on Sunday.
The 'three-peat' of titles here earned Mauresmo a stunning diamond-studded tennis racquet which goes to any player who wins three times in a five-year span.
Mauresmo had failed in bids to defend two titles this year, falling in the fourth round of the Australian Open and in the semi-finals of the Open Gaz de France.
The win gave Mauresmo, who also beat Clijsters in last year's final, her 24th career title while spoiling the Belgian's final appearance on home soil.
Clijsters, who won here in 2004 and was a finalist in 2003 and 2006, is retiring at the end of the current season.
