Anabel Medina Garrigues warmed up for the Australian Open in fine fashion by winning the Canberra Classic.
The Spaniard saw off Korea's Yoon Jeong Cho in a see-saw final on Saturday, eventually winning 6-4 0-6 6-4.
Garrigues, the top seed, ground out victory from the baseline to secure her third WTA title in the last nine months and fifth in all.
Cho was competing in her third final but has lost them all.
