Lucie Safarova won her second WTA Tour title by claiming the Forest Hills Classic on Saturday.
The rising Czech star saw off fellow 18-year-old Sania Mirza in a tight final at the former US Open venue, winning 3-6 7-5 6-4.
The left-hander battled back after dropping the first set to her Indian rival and eventually gained a decisive break of serve in the decider.
Safarova moves up to a career-high of 51 in the world rankings as a result of her victory in the Tier IV event.
Her previous title came earlier this year in Estoril, Portugal.
