Spain's Nuria Llagostera Vives won her first singles title on the WTA Tour in Rabat on Sunday.
The second seed beat China's Jie Zheng 6-4 6-2 to win the Grand Prix SAR La Princesse Lalla Meryem in Morocco.
Llagostera Vives, who was also contesting her first singles final, had few problems as she swept to victory on the clay.
She is expected to move up into the world's top 50 as a result of her win.
The Spanish star had ousted defending champion Emilie Loit in the last four on Saturday.
With her win, Llagostera Vives became the fifth maiden title winner on the tour this season.
