Justine Henin climbed to fourth in the world
rankings with a convincing victory over Alexandra Stevenson at the Generali
Ladies tournament in Linz on Sunday.
The Belgian was an emphatic 6-3 6-0 winner in the final of the WTA Tour event,
cruising through the second set as her American opponent lost the form which
made her a surprise finalist.
Stevenson was seeking her first career title, and thrashed top seed Jennifer
Capriati for the loss of just two games in the quarter-finals.
Fourth seed Henin said : ``I'm very happy. I played a good tournament.''
Offering consolation to Stevenson, she added: ``It's not easy to play this
type of match. I hope she's going to be fine.
``I just did my job and I'm really happy.''
