Magdalena Maleeva upset Lindsay Davenport to win the Kremlin Cup on Sunday.
The Bulgarian won a three-setter against the former Wimbledon champ to win the $1.224million event on carpet in Moscow.
Maleeva had already beaten world number two Venus Williams en route to the final, and added another big scalp in Davenport.
Maleeva looked booked for defeat however when she dropped the first set 7-5, but fought back strongly to take the second 6-3.
The deciding third was a real nailbiter, and went to the tie-break.
Maleeva held her nerve to take the breaker 7-4 and clinch the first prize.
She picked up $182,000 for her victory.
