Petra Kvitova claimed her first WTA Tour title on Friday with victory over Czech compatriot Iveta Benesova in the final of the Hobart International.
The 18-year-old broke her opponent six times and at one stage reeled off seven games in a row on her way to a convincing 7-5 6-1 win in only 71 minutes.
Unseeded Kvitova, who shares the same coach as Benesova, was appearing in her first final on the Tour.
