Anna Chakvetadze's impressive form continued as she claimed the Kremlin Cup in Moscow.

Chakvetadze posted a 6-4 6-4 victory over fifth-seeded compatriot Nadia Petrova at the indoor event on Sunday.

Chakvetadze jumped out to a 4-1 lead with a pair of breaks in the second set and held on to improve to 3-0 against Petrova this season.

With the win, Chakvetadze has now won twice in her last two events. She won her first career title at the Guangzhou Open in China two weeks ago.
