Anna Smashnova retained the Budapest Grand Prix title with a straight-sets win over Lourdes Dominguez Lino to extend her perfect winning record in WTA Tour finals to 12.
The Belarus-born eighth seed, who represents her adopted country of Israel, cruised to a 6-1 6-3 win over the fifth-seeded Spaniard to clinch her first WTA title of 2006.
The 30-year-old, who dropped just one set in this year's tournament, successfully followed up 2005's 6-2 6-2 final victory over Colombian Catalina Castano.
