Sixth seed Jie Zheng of China won the $145,000 Tier IV women's event for her second career title when eighth-seeded countrywoman Na Li retired with a right leg cramp after losing the second set.
In the first all-Chinese final in the 32-year history of the WTA Tour, Zheng lost the first set, 7-6 (7-5), before winning the second, 7-5.
"I feel so good," Zheng said.
"I feel so sorry for Li Na, but it was a good match today and I look forward to Roland Garros."
