Anabel Medina Garrigues captured the Internazionali Femminili di Palermo title on Sunday.
The Spanish third seed proved far too hot for Klara Koukalova, coming through 6-4 6-0 in a fairly one-sided final.
Medina, also champion here in 2001, is now 19-2 at the event, levelling her career head-to-head against Koukalova at 2-2.
Speaking after her win the Spaniard told the official WTA site: "Palermo is a good tournament for me, I feel at home.
"The match was not so easy, especially in the first set, I was down 4-2 but then I fought and I won the set."
