Wimbledon champion Maria Sharapova claimed the Seoul WTA tournament with an easy win over Marta Domachowska of Poland in the final. Russian Sharapova, seeded one, brushed aside her unheralded opponent 6-1 6-1. It was the 17-year-old Siberian's latest victory in an epic year with the highlight her unexpected victory at the All England Club in July. Domachowska, at 18, was competing in her maiden final.
