Venus Williams upset the Antwerp crowd by
beating home favourite Justine Henin in the Proximus Diamond Games final.
In a repeat of last year's Wimbledon final, the American number one seed looked
to be cruising to victory when she powered to the first set but had to fight
for a 6-3 5-7 6-3 victory.
It was similar to the final at the All England Club, as Henin rallied to take
the second set. She had trailed 3-1 but fought back bravely.
The second seed then looked capable of causing an upset, but Williams found a
second wind and came storming back to claim her third WTA Tour title of the
year.
