Top seed Kim Clijsters won her third title of the
year on Sunday when she lifted the Seat Open.
The 18-year-old Belgian, who triumphed at the same event in 1999, thrashed
sixth seed Lisa Raymond 6-2 6-2.
Clijsters, who has also won the Bank of the West Classic and the Sparkassen Cup
in the last four months, said: "I feel like I'm playing very well right now.
"This win gives me a lot of confidence heading into the Sanex Championships in
Munich."
Raymond, 28, was left to reflect on a heavy defeat in her first singles final
this year.
She said: "Kim was just too strong for me. A lot of the balls that were in for
me this week were just missing today.
"But this week was a great way for me to finish my singles season."
