| Three times a winner here and twice a runner-up, Williams has the best Wimbledon record of any player in the draw. Dominated here at the start of the decade, but in recent years she's been hit by injuries and, some would say, off-court distractions. Won her first title since her Wimbledon 2005 victory in Memphis in March to show she's still capable of tournament wins and anyone who saw her here two years ago will know not to write her off. Her big serve always makes her dangerous in SW19 and if the forehand errors are cut out then she's a real title threat. |
