VERDICT
Enjoyed a superb season in 2006, winning five ATP titles and reaching the final of the season-ending Masters Cup. All five of those wins came on a hardcourt though and the amiable American has rarely performed to such a level on the other surfaces. Loves the reliable bounce the hard surface brings, so won't be too enamoured by the lawns of SW19. Unlikely to challenge for the title, but if he does do well, expect his British-born mother to get plenty of mentions.
