Federer wins his fifth crown.
2014: The winners receive their trophies in the Royal Box, with Jamie's younger brother Andy (he plays tennis too) looking on proudly from the stands.
That's that from this year at Wimbledon, a tournament that was decimated by the rain, but one that saw Roger Federer equal Bjorn Borg's record of five in a row. Venus Williams claimed her fourth title, beating the unfancied outsider Marion Bartoli in the ladies final.
And finally, Murray won Wimbledon, but it wasn't the one that everyone expected - Jamie Murray became the first Brit in eons to win at the All England Club, taking the mixed doubles with Jelena Jankovic.
See you next year for more of the same. Hopefully with less rain though.
2011: That's the first time that a Brit has won a Grand Slam title since Jeremey Bates and Jo Durie won the Australian mixed in 1991.
2009: Jankovic serves out the final game to love, and the unseeded pair have won the Wimbledon mixed doubles title 6-4 3-6 6-1
2006: Murray and Jankovic take another break after Bjorkman and Molik leave a bunt down the centre for each other, and it falls in. Jankovic will now serve for the title, leading 5-1 in the decider.
1955: After surviving three break points, Murray and Jankovic claw the game back to consolidate the break and go 3-0 up in the decider.
1950: Murray and Jankovic take an early break in the final set to go 2-0 up after a neat volley from the Serb forces Molik to net. Great start to the decider for the home favourites.
1943: Bjorkman has the chance to serve out the set, and just about manages it after passing up two set points. Like the men's singles, the mixed doubles final will go into a deciding set.
1938: However, som fine play from Jankovic helps the pair save a game and claim one break back - 5-2 now to Bjorkman and Molik in the second.
1932: Bjorkman and Molik break again to set up a chance to serve for the second set.
1925: Bjorkman and Molik take a break in the fourth game of the second set to go 3-1 up, looking to level the match.
1911: Despite a slight mix-up going when they both went for a high volley at the net, Murray and Jankovic close out the first set to take it 6-4. They have looked much the better pairing in this mixed-doubles final so far.
1907: A cracking lob from Murray gives he and Jankovic another break to give them the chance to serve for the first set.
1905: After saving a couple of break points, Jankovic serves out to level things at 4-4 in the opening set.
1845: However, the advantage doesn't last for long - a couple of good cross-court shots from Jankovic gives them an immediate break back. Jankovic then serves out to consolidate the break - 2-2 now in the first.
1842: Bad start for Murray and Jankovic - Bjorkman volleys away at the net to claim an early break in the first set.
1837: Jonas Bjorkman saves the break-point with an ace to Murray's forehand side, and goes on to serve out the first game of the match.
1835: The mixed doubles final is underway, and Murray and Jankovic already have a break-point.
1812: Next up is the mixed doubles final between Jamie Murray & Jelena Jankovic and Jonas Bjorkman & Alicia Molik, and we'll have regular updates on that clash right here.
1807: Federer told Nadal at the end that he deserved the win himself, and quite right he was too. Nadal will win this title one day, but for now we must salute Roger Federer.
1804: Meanwhile, over on Court One, Cara Black and Liezel Huber have claimed the ladies' doubles title, beating Katarina Srebotnik and Ai Sugiyama 3-6 6-3 6-2.
1803: Federer dons the blazer and pristine white trousers to go up and receive the trophy for the fifth time.
1802: Rafael Nadal is given the rousing reception he deserves when he goes up to collect his runners-up dish. He doesn't look too downhearted, and he needs not be.
1759: Federer collapses to his knees - that win will mean almost as much as the first title did five years ago, given how hard he was made to fight for it.
1758: And he's done it! A forehand deep to Nadal's backhand is just cut-off by the Spaniard, but Federer is there at the net to smash away the winnner and take his fifth Wimbledon title in a row, 7-6 4-6 7-6 2-6 6-2. Magnificent stuff.
1757: Nadal nets a forehand to give Federer another Championship point.

1753: In the women's doubles final, Black and Huber have taken a crucial break in the decider.
1752: Federer goes deep to Nadal's forehand, and he can't control the return and blazes out. Federer two points away now.
1749: Federer consolidates that crucial break by serving out to love in a game that features three power-packed aces. This is what makes champions - when needed, Federer has turned on the brilliance, and is now within one game of his fifth Wimbledon title.
1747: Federer's return goes long on the first, but he claims the break with a truely fantastic whipped cross-court forehand that hits the line and goes past Nadal's backhand. He seems rather happy with that one. 4-2 to Federer in the decider.
1745: Nadal comes to the net, but can't put a volley away and Federer hits a gorgeous passing shot down the line for a winner. He then sets up three break points with an equally good cross-court forehand that Nadal just can't reach.
1742: And he claims the hold after Nadal goes wide with a cross-court backhand. This is truely great tennis.
1741: Once again Federer gets out of jail with a couple of absolutely massive serves.
1740: Nadal has two break points - nervy times for Federer.
1737: Nadal holds to love to make it 2-2 in the fifth. The sun is shining brightly on Centre Court, which is just as well - the way these two are going they are going to need as much light as they can get.
1732: Federer closes the game out, finishing with a brilliant inside-out forehand past Nadal's forehand.
1731: Federer saves both break-points, the second after forcing Nadal to go wide with a forehand.
1730: Nadal brings up break point after Federer goes long with a cross-court forehand.
1728: Nadal holds to level things in the decider, but only after a brilliant inside out forehand winner from Federer has the Spaniard in trouble.
1725: Federer holds to love in the first game of the decider. Tense stuff.
1722: The momentum is firmly with Nadal after that blistering set, but how much will that knee problem hamper his play in the fifth? Should be a cracking battle.
1721: It's Nadal's turn to go off for a 'comfort break' between sets.
1720: Nadal claims the fourth set 6-2 after Federer nets a backhand from deep. This is uncharted territory for the champion, who has never gone into five sets in a Wimbledon final.
1719: Over on Court One, the women's doubles is into a decider as Black and Huber take the second 6-3.
1715: Federer holds in double-quick time, but now Nadal will serve to take the final into a deciding set.
1713: Despite his discomfort, Nadal serves out the game to go 5-1 up in the fourth.
1711: That knee problem seems to be effecting Nadal's serve - he double-faults once, and isn't sending down the rest with anything like the speed or intensity of earlier in the match.
1709: After some treatment and getting that knee strapped up, Nadal is back out and will serve for a 5-1 lead in the fourth set.
1704: Nadal has called for the trainer between games - looks like he has a problem with his right knee.
1703: Federer gets on the board in the fourth, largely thanks to an array of classic groundstrokes and a massive ace to secure the game.
1701: Federer still looks shaken by that controversy a couple of games back. He has never been pushed like this in a Wimbledon final - is it getting to the four-times champion?
1700: Federer has Nadal looking in trouble on his serve, but in classic grass-court fashion the Spaniard climbs out of his hole with a big serve or two to secure a 4-0 lead.
1657: Over in the women's doubles final, Sugiyama and Srebotnik have taken the first set 6-3.
1656: Federer nets to give Nadal a double break in the fourth, and he chatters away to himself all the way back to his chair, and most of the way through the break between games, claiming Hawk-eye is 'killing him'.
1654: Nadal brings up break-point with a great cross-court shot that clips the back of the line. It's initially called out, but Hawk-eye says it's in. Federer is not happy at all, and spends a fruitless few seconds arguing with the umpire.
1652: Nadal consolidates his break by serving out his first service game. 2-0 in the fourth.
1649: And he takes it, forcing Federer to net with a great powerful, dipping forehand. First blood to the Spaniard in a set that he must win to stay in the final.
1648: After Federer takes a 'comfort break', Nadal brings up break-point in the first game of the fourth.
1644: Federer nets the first set-point, but then claims the set after Nadal goes just long with a cross-court shot from very deep on the backhand side. Great tennis, and Federer is one set away from his fifth Wimbledon.

1637: Federer takes first blood in the breaker, claiming a mini-break with a beautiful inside out forehand winner.
1636: Federer serves the game out with a pair of massive serves down the middle, the first of which Nadal challenges unsuccessfully. Tie-break in the third.
1635: Nadal passes up a great chance to bring up a set point by netting a routine forehand. Careless play really - he seemed to snatch at the shot.
1633: Nadal holds to force Federer to serve to stay in the set for the second time. It will be interesting to see how Federer reacts to such a challenge, given that he hasn't faced one - his quarter-final against Ferrero aside - so far in this fortnight.
1630: Over in the ladies' doubles final, Srebotnik and Sugiyama have taken a break in the first set to lead 4-2.
1628: Federer closes out the game by winning two fantastic points with two volleys of differing nature - one high and on the backhand side, the other a delicate low slice on the forehand. This is turning into the epic tussle that we all hoped it would be.
1626: After some blistering serves take Federer to 40-0,Nadal powers back to deuce with some tireless tennis.
1623: Nadal once again holds - it's all going with serve so far in the third set.

1612: Nadal breaks his racquet in playing an impossible cross-court forehand from what seemed like a lost-cause. Quite exceptional play from the Spaniard.

1608: Nadal repeats Federer's perfect hold, in a game featuring a fantastic sliced inside-out forehand drop-shot that gave Federer no chance.
1606: Federer serves out to love with some utterly ruthless play, barely allowing Nadal to lay a racquet on ball.
1604: The good news is that some light showers were forecast for about this time, but the sky looks pretty clear and blue over SW19.
1603: Federer has a chance to set up a break, but puts a forehand long to seal a hold for Nadal. 2-1 in the third now.
1600: Federer holds to level the third set, but not without problems. Nadal plays some gutsy stuff to take him to 40-30, but loses out after putting a forehand into the tramlines.
1557: Back over on Court One, the women's doubles final is about to get underway, with fourth seeds Katarina Srebotnik & Ai Sugiyama taking on second seeds Cara Black & Liezel Huber. Will keep you posted on that one.

1440: Federer holds his serve with some impressive play, only blighted by a double-fault.
1438: Nadal holds his serve to love to draw the first set level at 3-3. The play so far has not only been fantastically skilful, but what is really incredible is the aggression shown by both players.
1435: Over on Court One, Llodra and Clement have drawn level in the men's doubles final, taking the second set 6-3 against the Bryans.
1434: And Nadal breaks back! Federer plays a great cross-court forehand that he thinks has him the point, but Nadal reaches it with his double-handed backhand and the Swiss can't get to the drive down the line. If the first five games are anything to go by, we could be in for a classic here.

1356: Meanwhile, anticipation is growing on Centre Court for the men's final between Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal. The players are waiting to come out, with the Spaniard looking decidedly more on edge than the defending champion, but he's a pretty highly strung character on the court anyway, so perhaps not too much should be read into that.
1355: And Bjorkman has served out the match, and they go through to the final later on today.

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are unquestionably the best two players in the world, and they meet here in the final for the second consecutive year, and for the fourth time in a Grand Slamfinal.
As a bonus for the home crowd, when the men's singles final is done Centre Court will see Jamie Murray and Jelena Jankovic contest the mixed doubles final. Who they will play is still to be decided - the other semi-final is in play now, with Jonas Bjorkman and Alicia Molik taking on Fabrice Santoro and Severine Bremond. It's currently 2-1 to Bjorkman and Molik in the first, going with serve. We'll keep you posted on that game.
