All the Italian's WTA Tour titles have come on clay (she's also made two finals on the dirt this year), but Pennetta showed in SW19 last year that she can play on this surface. She reached the last 16 on that occasion - her best Grand Slam performance - and will be looking to make week two again after gaining confidence during the claycourt season. May well do so, but not a threat to the real big guns.
