Israel hasn't produced many tennis stars, but it has one now in 19-year-old Peer. She has already won three WTA Tour titles this season and at the recent French Open secured her first-ever win over a top-10 player, beating Elena Dementieva en route to the last 16. Peer has only played here once before but if she can adapt her game to grass, she has the form to strike fear into higher-ranked opponents.
