One of few players on the WTA Tour whose favourite surface is grass. That stems from a run to the final of junior Wimbledon back in 2003. She is now making an impact in the senior ranks and this season has made the last 16 in Indian Wells and Miami, plus the semis in Warsaw. It took eventual champion Vera Zvonareva to stop her at Edgbaston and such good form means she is one of the lower seeds who looks capable of going further than her seeding predicts.
