Burst on to the scene here in 2002 with a surprise run to the final on debut. Has performed consistently in the Slams since, but has yet to make another final. Reached the semis in Paris recently but was then forced to quit with an abdominal injury which leaves his participation here in question. A dangerous threat if fully fit, but it's hard to see him going all the way.
