'The Mosquito' has failed to rediscover the form which elevated him to world number one in 2003. His main threat came on the claycourts, but he was also a Grand Slam finalist on the hard surface. Unlike some of his Spanish compatriots, Ferrero always gives it his best shot at Wimbledon and twice he has reached the last 16. However, there are plenty of better players than him these days and another apprearance in the second week looks the best he can hope for.
