| Much of Williams' 2003 season was ruined by an abdominal strain, an injury which would eventually hit her hard in last year’s final against sister Serena. Is returning to something near her best now and enjoyed a 19-match winning run on clay until being beaten in the last eight in Paris. Has been hindered by an ankle problem, but if that has cleared, the two-time champion should have a great chance on arguably her favourite surface. |
