| The first thing mentioned about this Russian is often the fact that she is men's star Marat Safin's sister. However, she is a fine player in her own right and having only just turned 18 has plenty ahead of her. As a qualifier, Safina made the semi-finals at the Paris Indoors earlier this year but positive results have proven elusive of late. Unlikely to do much here, even though she is a former junior finalist. |
